Surgery while on period?

Hi girls, hope someone can help, I have my surgery all booked for nx week, but now have to wait to see if I can go ahead as I maybe on my period! I am having a breast lift with implants. I really hope this doesn’t effect my surgery!! Xx

It doesn’t effect the surgery, take some fresh cotton briefs with you, as you should wear a pad (Both my ops I was on and wore a tampon, but only because no-one said not too, but most girls have been told to use a pad)
Don’t worry about it, there’s loads of us that have been there and done that xx

There’s no need for it to be moved because of your surgery Hun, don’t worry about it, just take fresh cotton pants xx

Hey Leanne I was on the dreaded monthly on sat when I had my op they wouldn’t let me wear a tampon or my own new knickers under the paper things had to suffer with a massive towel like the type you use after having a baby in paper knickers wasn’t very happy to say the least. Just be prepared just incase your nurse is abit of a stoppy arse like mine was xx

Heya, I was on too… They ask before op when your last period was.. I Didn’t get told not to wear a tampon so I did and no issues at all…
