surgical stockings?

Had my ba 4 days ago and was told to wear the stockings for a week. How long did others wear theres for?

Hi, I wore mine for 3 or 4 days. When I was up and about a bit more. When I took them off though I had bruises down the backs of my legs so went to my gp but it was nothing to worry about, think they must have bashed me about a bit in theatre lol!

First I’ve heard about having to wear surgical stockings? Does these mean I’ll have to buy some? x

No they give you them before you go into theatre x

Hey Hun nurse at hospital told me 24 hours and if you go in for any other op with Nhs it’s 24 hours unless bed ridden which your not xx
