Swelling on breast bone… help?

Hey girls

I’m now 17days post op and have some really noticeable swelling in the center on my Brest bone. Is this normal? The nurse said it should start to go down at my pre op appointment but it’s still there pretty bad. All advice welcome

Hi Hun I had quite a lot of swelling there for the first three weeks I though something might of been wrong but nurse assured me it was totally normal I also bruised badly in same place aswell it took quite a while like I say for my swelling to go down there I used plenty of ice packs witch helped xxxx

I know how you feel it’s an awful waiting game ain’t it you don’t realise befor sugury just how much of a waiting game it is xxx

Hi guys, I’m 1 day post op and have a lot of swelling between implants, I didnt sleep at a 45 degree angle though so I don’t think that has helped, I didn’t have a drain and am worried that bra being too tight is not going to allow for the fluid to drain away very easily, any advice greatly received, obviously will be sleeping propped up better tonight! X
