Swollen and Veiney!!??

Hey ladies

I had my op today, my breasts are very swollen and my veins look like they are on the outside of my skin, anyone else had this problem? Also can I use an ice pack to bring down swelling I am worried about getting the bandages wet.

What can I do about the veins? :'(

Ok great well I have one of those ‘stick it in the freezer/microwave’ thingies I’m clutching it to my bosom now lol

It’s the veins I’m more worried about I hope someone else has been through it also.

I can’t see my chest its all wrapped up like a Christmas present lol but it prob something to do with the to trauma of the op have to bear in mind your boobies have been through a lot I’m sure the veins will settle over the coming days xx

Yeah hun, loads go veiny straight after and for a while, just everything being pushed to the surface to accommodate the implant. It will settle eventually, meanwhile we have to get used to looking like a roadmap for a while! Happy healing hun x

Thank you ladies! It’s not a pretty sight is it lol can’t wait for them to drop so that they go down but so far everything is great I don’t even need the painkillers they prescribed I feel normal just a bit sore 🙂 hope everyone else is feeling the same 🙂
