Swollen boob – advice??! Has anyone had anything similar?

Hi girls

I had my op last Saturday and could not fault it, no waiting around, lovely staff and recovery been very pain free – just a bit of discomfort which is to be expected!

I had my strapping of yesterday (5 days po) and my right boob is so much more swollen than the left :/ the nurse pressed them and the said it was softening but could feel some air or something there. There’s no pain at all just really swollen especially compared to the left which is settling nicely.

She’s said to go see the surgeon on Sunday if I’m still worried that is hasn’t gone down. I’m taking my ibu and putting ice packs on it and resting lots. She said not to worry as I am only 5 days post (6 now) but I can’t help but worry!! They do look fab (well the left one at the min) and don’t want anything to be wrong.

Has anyone had anything similar!! Just want to put my mind at ease!!

Hi i had my op last friday a week today and im having the exact same problem as you! Right boob looks like a balloon and the left is settling lovely, had 250 unders in the left and 275 in the right so im just guessing its cause its a bigger implant but its just not going down 🙁 not spoke to mya about it tho xx

Omg I’m glad I’m not the only one although it’s such a worrying thing to go through! It’s all I can think about while I’m just resting!

Have you got any pain or anything? I don’t but I just feel like it could pop! Keep touching it to see if it’s gone hard.

Maybe speak to the nurse? Hopefully it’s just down to the size difference though.. I’m going back to see the surgeon on Sunday so hopefully I’ll feel better then :/ will keep you up to date though xx

Well i had my pre op wednesday and it wasnt as swollen then she did mention the right boob aas bigger but she said it was normal but since then the right one has got bigger im sure! Yes could you let me know what the surgeon says to you cause it may just be normal! The right was is tender and just feel like a rock where the left is perfectly fine no pain at all. Xx

Will let u know on Sunday! Until then I’m just going to keep icing! Xx
