swollen throat help!

My op is Thursday and I got a swollen throat virul infection nothing actually serious though Iv got no fever nothing and my throat isn’t even sore! has anyone gone in on there op day with the same thing and still gone ahead with surgey?x

I highly doubt that a sore throat would stop them performing the op! X
