Hey girls I’m 2 weeks and 2 days post op,I got my stiches removed Friday and have been given micropore tape to put on my scars but I’m not sure how long I’m meant to do this for?? When changing the tape today I pulled one of the scabs off and it started to bleed a little bit and I’m not sure what to do? Do I leave the air to get to it and help it scab over or do I apply tape again? I’m so stuck!
The same has happened to me. I changed my sterile strips today and its pulled a massive scab off and its opened now 🙁 I contacted one of the nurses and they’re redressing it on wednesday. If in doubt contact your clinic they’ll advise Xx
