Tape is really itchy and sore

Hi everyone I’m 5 days PO and my tape is really really sore and itchy I’ve had to put sun do cream where it is sitting but as it’s been pulled away I’ve noticed my skin looks like it’s burnt anyone else experience this? Should I get the tape removed?

Hey Lina , I’m 4 days post op and I’m also experiencing itching but I think it’s the medication as I only get itchy at night and not during the day , my tape is still on but I have seen some and before pictures where the skin looks burnt, I don’t think it’s nothing to worry about . Everyone skin reacts different and my itching started 2 days ago , maybe try an ice pack to cool it down .

Hey I had exactly the same last week, my left boob started coming out in blisters, I saw the nurse and she said it’s the dressings where the tape is pulled so tight on your skin, I completely understand the itching too it was driving me insane! But nothing to worry about.
