Tape strapping

Hi all,

It’s been a week of having my tape on and honestly it has been the most uncomfortable experience, I have no pain from my boobs apart from the tape pulling in different places. I haven’t been able to walk due to the pain!

Did anyone else find this? Also it pulls on all my hairs! Did anyone find that it was really painful to have taken off? Do they do it quite quickly?!

Hi. I had that strapping I’m now 12 days post op, it was a long week with that on. I too found it hell I think the glue kept pulling on different areas and it felt like a needle poking where the glue would pinch. It pulled a lot on my sides and incision area. When it came off it was a huge relief though the rest of that day my incisions became even more itchy but then the next day that eased off. Wasn’t too painful coming off just a couple of bits I grit my teeth but not as bad as I expected. Good luck when you’re comes off and hope you don’t have too much longer to wait x

Its good to know it’s not just me that seemed to struggle so much with it! I get that exact feeling too. I can’t wait to feel freedom from it all!
I have my appointment tomorrow to remove it so I am very much looking forward to it, I’ve tried to cut away at bits under my arms but it didn’t seem to do much, it still pulls.

Hi, I had my BA last week and my post op appointment today. They removed the strap and it’s so much better! It was a horrible week and I too was surprised as all the videos you see online show people recovering so much quicker. I think its just down to the tightness of the strap, you are definitley not alone!

The nurse said today that I just need to keep op my post surgery bra but no band, have you been given a band? Just wondering if thats normal. I had 300/325 hp sub muscular…

Hey yeah I had mine taken off today! What a relief!

I haven’t been given a band just the post op sports bra for me, I found that Macom was irritating the stitches too much.

I defiantly feel a lot more healed after the strapping has come off! Hope this week for you goes better than last week xx
