Weird question, but is it okay to get a tattoo done before surgery?

Ive had a cover up done on my back. I had the tattoo then had some more shading bit need to go back for more shading as its not fully covered the original tattoo yet.

It depends how close your op is, having too many things healing at once will up your chance of an infection, usualy 6months pre ba and 6months post. x

I had tattoo 1 week b4 surgery and everything was fine x

itl be just over a week before. gonna check with my pc.
