Hello Tracey, I think my breasts looked like yours before my operation. I was advised round implants by 2 surgeon and teardrop by another (he said the heavier base would push the nipple up to sit higher) but I opted for round as I didn’t want to lose the upper pole fullness which you do with teardrop.
My advise would be go as see at least 3 surgeons and see what they say, they (should) measure you and reccomended what they think would suit your frame. Another thing, look at lots of pictures of fake breasts and get a good idea of the look you want. Take these to the appointments with you so your surgeon can see what look you want to achieve. It’s all very well saying ‘double d’ but this can be very vague as different manufacturers make sizes different.
In regards to the profile, this is, personal preference, if you want a lot of upper pole fullness (the push up bra look) then go for high profile. I went for moderate as o wanted a more natural look. Different manufactures use different terminology for profiles too (mentors medium profile is moderate plus and allergan is just moderate) to be sure double check this too.
