Hi girls I want to ask about teardrop implants doesn’t seem to be much on them! I really really want the teardrop shape I can’t stand the round stuck on look I know people say unders can give the same result but I just don’t feel they will look natural enough like sort of sit like a real boob. Also I hear these horror stories that they flip more has anyone got them? or any info what’s best to achieve very natural? Thanks in advance 🙂 xxx
Hey Georgie, personally i dont think tear drops look natural, especially when you lie flat on your back, they stay the same shape rather than going flat like the round implants do, and as natural breasts do. Round implants can look really natural, it all depends on size of implant, whether they are behind the muscle or how much breast tissue you have before hand. Add some girls who have round implants and have a look! Speak to a surgeon they’ll give the best advise!
Tear drop implants tend to drop a lot more and over a quick period of time too, that’s why they’re trying to get rid and to stop people having them, if you have the round they’ll position them so they look more natural, I wasn’t fused on getting round implants but I’d honestly rather them round, upright and positioned to be natural than have saggy boobs lol x
I would honestly say go into that appointment open minded hun. Reason I say this is, because I was exactly like you. I was determined I knew I wanted teardrop and I was determined I knew what would suit me. I’ve ended up having round over muscle 375cc implants High profile!! Completely opposite to what I intially went in for and I’m so glad I listened to the surgeons advice. They do this day in and day out they know instantly by looking at you, what they can do for you, so have some faith! I wanted the natural look and was worried about getting fake looking boobs from rounds, they already look quite natural and I’m only 5 days post op, granted they need to drop and fluff so I have no doubts they will be just what I asked for originally. Just be open minded, see what they say to you! Hope this helps xxxx
Hi I have tear drop implants overs 375 im 3 years post op however size 14 and 5dt 4. they are natural, mine don’t look fake! I would say they look better with no bra and they are very full at bottom but not much on top so when I wear a bra they don’t look fake with circles! Mine dropped a lot over the years, I would reccomend them if you are purely looking for natural look, ive had no issues with flipping. If you are skinny I would reccomend tear drop for natural look x
Thanks girls it’s so helpful I’m really stuck it’s just that I don’t want it to look obvious I’ve had them done well my first consultant ion is tomorrow so hopefully ill be able to look at the implants thankyou Becky do you have any photos I can have a nose at 🙂 thankyou Jess so good to hear it’s not just me lol I’ll try be as open minded as I can you’re all so lovely and helpful 🙂 xxxx
@georgie round shape will turn in teardrop anyway by the time (gravity), my surgeon said that the risk of displacement is much lower on round implants than teardrop. I wanted to go as well for teardrop, but i change my mind after the consultation. if you want you can add me, i had 350 round high profile under, you can see the breast doesn’t look so round btw. good luck 🙂 xxx
Ahh Thankyou martina will add you now 🙂 xxxx
Thankyou kiki! Hope you don’t mind the add xx
@kiki87 oh my gosh they are gooorgeous.
When I saw my surgeon last he said he would only do my re op with anatomicals and I’ve been worrying about it ever since … Seeing yours has just made me feel so settled and so happy I don’t doubt at all now that teardrops / anatomicals are 100% the right thing for me now. Congrats you must be so happy 🙂
I have rounds now Georgie and I am just too small for them, I have complications anyway, but my chest is only a 27 and I don’t personally believe I could have ever achieved what Kiki has with hers with rounds. I can’t wait to have a normal body lol xx
Georgie we are friends now so you should hopefully be able to see the pics!
Thank you Laura, so glad it has made you a bit happier and confident in making your decision. Im of the opinion that maybe some girls don’t need them to create a natural look but I have a long torso and chest so a longer implant really does suit someone with this shape or minimal breast tissue better if they are looking for a natural look. I really don’t think surgeons would use them if the risk of rotation was so high. I have also read the surgery is slightly more intricate with anatomicals, the pocket the surgeon creates has to be quite precise to keep the implant in place so perhaps not all surgeons are experienced enough to offer anatomicals..? Anyway, they are softening up by the day and I’m loving them more as time goes on. I spoke to a couple of other girls on here with anatomicals and they just all seemed so happy with the results I knew it was the best option for me too, I think you will be pleased if you go for them. Have you got a day booked for your surgery? X
Kiki I hope you don’t mind that I have added you. I want a very natural look and would be very interested to see your pics x
Not at all Nina, have accepted 🙂
If you look on the photos section in my profile are they not there? I thought maybe my settings weren’t right but Laura could view them..hmm. Let me know if you still can’t xx
I still don’t have a surgery date am still waiting on head office to approve my revision, shouldn’t think it will be much longer though, well I hope not anyway mine are getting worse by the hour it feels!!
I’m quite short, I have to have moderate xfp to get the equivalent of what I have now, i just can’t risk having the ridges at the top now again, it’s so tight Id be anxious to do it again and my surgeon specialises in anatomicals and said he would feel more comfortable if I changed to them. The rotation rumour is so rare, it’s really not something worth worrying about!
@kiki87 did you have natrelles? If so did you have the soft touch or the original cohesive ones?? X
Oh Laura, that’s sounds tough, you just have to think it’ll all be sorted soon and you’ll be enjoying your new boobies again in no time. I had Natrelle, I didn’t actually ask if they did any others, have you been given option of either?thats awesome if so! Who’s your surgeon? Xx
@kiki. Ive just added u hopenu dont mind. I was offered 280cc teardrop implants with a diffrent surgery but they seemed tiny when I tried the sizers. I would to see what they look like once inserted. I have a consultation booked today with mya instead, cant wait 🙂 xx
I was only told about natrelles as they are what I already have, I was worried about the difference in projection as he explained the projection is more for the same size and I don’t really want to change my size, apart from the complications I was happy and didnt want to be changing them if I didn’t need to! But like I say because of the hard ridges at the top were switching to anatomicals, I have Dr Adamo and he is an anatomical specialist so I know I’ll be in safe hands, just sooner the better I’m starting to really think one of mine may have ruptured now as there has been a dramatic change in shape so yea I can’t wait now lol!
Yours are just so lovely though you should be really really pleased, I will be over the moon if mine end up like that and stay like that 🙂 xxx
Hi Kiki, hope the add is ok 🙂 I’m due to have 335/375 HP anatomical implants under the muscle so want to research as much as I can! Thanks X
Hey these act like Tdrop implants and they round in shape and once placed under the skin they fall to natral shape of Breast these are new I have 590cc but in this shape but have a friend that just had these and her look amazing these do not filp and come with less risk x
They are called Motiva http://www.motivaimplants.com/latest-innovations
I don’t think a lot of mya surgeon recommend them
I asked about them he said depending on natural breast shape I can’t have tears
Well I don’t know about rumours but I can speak from experience. I DID have teardrops/anatomical ones 250. After 12 years and 2 children, I decided to change them. The doctors at the consultation said he can feel them rotated slightly. After the op he confirmed they were. So apart from them looking an odd shape as rotated they were ok. Good old mentors:)
It’s a big decision and a lot of money so keep discussing it with your surgeon and looking at photos etc to make sure you get what you want. I had mine done on Mond. This was my second ba as I had them done in 2007. I had the high profile unders. I don’t know much about the teardrop ones but unders should look more natural than the overs.xx
Georgia, the hospital group offer a range that are known as egronomix, they start off round and after implantation the fullness goes more towards the bottom & when you lie down etc they move with the position. I had these as I didn’t want the stuck on look or the defined round shape at the top. I’m only 4 days post op and they are looking great whilst still very full at the top too. there’s definitely options u can chose to avoid the round look xx
They are motiva egronomix the ones with the chips. There so soft already xx
http://www.motivaimplants.com/latest-innovations these are them Hun. Just another option xx
