Teardrop vs round

I have my op in a week and I’m having teardrop shape implants, will the CC end up the same size as a round implant?

Worrying now they are going to be small

As far as I’m aware the CC is different in round and teardrop due to the difference in shape. I had 335cc teardrop unders. I’d ask your surgeon though to clarify but I think you need to go bigger with teardrops X

I had 335c teardrops too and I feel like mine are deffo big enough! I was a 32b now I’m 32dd/34d!
This was 5 weeks PO xx

What size are you starting off? I honestly wouldn’t think into it too much, it’s only 25cc difference which really isn’t a lot! Did you do the rice test to see the size as I found it really useful, like 310 grams is the same so just measure it out and put it in a bag/sock and that’s your implant size! I only picked 300 when I did that so didn’t notice the difference that much from 300! X

I think I’m an A, I’ve never been measured ? Thanks for that I’ll try it out tomorrow, maybe I’m thinking in to it too much..I just don’t wanna spend all this money to be unhappy and forking out more ££ to go bigger!

I Spose different implants look different on other peoples frames etc! Will just have to wait and see and hope for the best x

@d12j I noticed on your profile you had the option of 275-300 did you push to go bigger or was it a last minute decision? X

I had round implants, i think they’re roughly the same CC but the teardrops look more natural xx

Yeah I went in just letting the surgeon pick as I was happy with all the sizers I tried on within that range, then he said he picked the bigger ones as they filled the width better across my chest! Honestly some days I think mine are tiny and want them bigger and sometimes I think they’re too big! X

At my appointment the surgeon picked a round implant. I’m thinking teardrop would suit me better & I prefer that look & it’s closer to the shape I naturally have. Are there any pro/cons to going tear drop? Can I request that? What are everyone’s thoughts? I am 34AA & been recommended 200-225 M+ C1/c2 (I don’t know what the M+ & C stuff means)

@magenta it’s totally up to you if you want the teardrop ones but normally what the surgeon suggests is usually best! I’ve seen loads of people have really natural results with round especially under the muscle! Teardrop implants do have a chance of becoming misshapen if they do rotate but they are put in a very tightly dissected pocket to avoid this happening so the thought of that didn’t really bother me! Teardrops are very flat at the top but I’ve still got the roundness at the bottom and at the cleavage!

I am going with the teardrop shape as I want as natural as possible, and don’t want them to be too round on top, I do want to go quite big, from a b to a dd/e so not having the roundness on top doesn’t bother me as a good bra will give me me cleavage I’m after. I did notice that rounds are more popular and that most of the surgeons I saw offered round as opposed to teardrops but it’s everyone’s personal choice.
I really like the shape of my boobs at the bottom of that makes sense, it’s the top part I want to fill out a little more so teardrops would give more of a fuller top half not as much as rounds of course but still more than what i have so for me that shape was right.
Try and find a surgeon who has both shapes and ask to try the different shapes on at sizing, you will soon know what feels right x

@d12j op went really well thank you, just my chest feels abit heavy and my back hurts from how I’ve been sleeping!

I had a sneak when the nurse changed my strappjng and they look great already! I’ve got strappjng over the top so can’t really see them properly! Hopefully they just get better from now on x

Please put a pic up when you can hun! my surgeon advised tear drops and quite small as well, I’m really unsure as I can hardly find any pictures of tear drops! Hope you recover well x

I had teardrops and very pleased with my result. Unless you want the fake look specifically then they are quite similar, all depends on your frame too xx

@sophiemichelle23 here are some pictures of mine xx teardrop 375cc from a 30b to a 30F I’m now at 8 weeks and they are still growing as I had mine under the muscle xx you can see the difference from week 2-week 6

They look amazing! Although I’m only a 32a he’s only suggested 250cc and I can’t help think there gunna be to small!
