hi sarah, you definitely have to go with who you feel most comfortable with – I loved everything about mya from the begining and much preferred them to the other companies I saw. you will get to try the implants on when you see the surgeon. it is free to see him, they said i had to pay at harley which put me off a bit. kelly g is right…. it is the surgeon that gives the result. i drove my pc and the nurse mad with all my questions after but they were wicked! if you have any other questions hun let me know xxx

Hi Sarah I’m 19 and just had mine done I’m 8 days post – op best thing I could have done :)
My family were very supportive as from my early teens I was never happy with my boobs and my confidence was really low… I couldn’t leave the house without padded bras and silicone inserts and bikini and dress buying was a nightmare that would often end in tears :I
I’m on a gap year at the moment before I start uni in september so I just got a full time job and paid off the balance monthly, I didn’t take out any finance or loans just worked really hard… I’m lucky as I don’t have any mortgages or major bills to pay yet so i was able to do that.
If you are in a position financially to be able to go through with the surgery and feel that it’s what you really would like to do I would say 100% go for it because as we get older things get harder and we will have more outgoings etc…

Hope this helps and good luck x

Hi sarah i was 18 when i had my first child and got saggy breast after 13 yrs of being shy of my body i have had my breast done just wish i had done it earlier . you must read about all the things that can go wrong and think about having more surgery in the future after children or any complications . it sounds like your doing research on your surgeons so your very determined to do this . you can get 250 off for day case and 500 voucher from http://www.breastenlargementdiscounts.co.uk to use with mya . just wondering how your paying for your surgery as loans at 19 are such a big responsibility . i pre paid for my surgery before my op as im rubbish with money so paid my deposit and then what i could every month till the full amount was paid it didn’t take that long really and i had time to think about whether i was doing the right thing you must make sure your doing this purely cause your unhappy with the way you look and not because your unhappy with other aspects of your life . anyway good luck babe

hiya, iam 19 and ive just had my BA! at first my familiy were abit taken back the fact i wanted to change my body.. but once we got talking and found out how much i felt, researched and comitment i had put into all this they soon understood.
i had two diferent types of breast. tubular which was coney size a and a normal breast close to a b. i had been to the doctor and asked for some advice weather i would change shape or get bigger. i did alot of sport when i was younger which has stumped my growth and was told i wasnt going to change, this was when i was 18 and i hadnt changed at all. i weighed 10stone 5ft 5, and i was really concious being flat chested and braud sholdered which made me feel manly, uneven and slightly over weight, but was too uncomfortable to loose weight as it would come straight off my boobs first which i wasnt prepared to do which got me down and depressed, the only thing for it was to have a BA. my familiy surported me all the way. my op was on may 11th in manchester with mr traynor. i had 410cc and 380cc to even out.. 3days post op now and i already feel fabulous and womanly.. cant wait to go out bra shopping and wear the tops for years thought would never suit!
In my experience it doesnt matter what age you are, thats for people who like to know it all! its all about how you feel and your circumstances. live your life to the full, so why wait to be happier, my breast enlargement has changed my life, iam so much more confident and positive..

heyy, im only just 18 and had my ba on sunday! i knew from about 14 years old that it was what i wanted as i think you come to a certain point, after watching everyone else around you develop, when you just know its not gonna happen! i tried to get it done when i was 16 cos its legal at this age, but nowhere would do it, so as soon as i hit 18 that was it! im soo glad iv done it (even tho im having a down day today cos they look really pointy and small!) i just couldnt have gone on with the body i had! everyones been really supportive, i mean they were worried but they knew there was no stopping me and that i had to do it for me! all the staff at mya have been great, they are there to help whenever you need it, and everyone at the hospital was great too! hope it goes well for you :) xxxxx

    Heyy Sara,
    I’m currently 18, and will turn 19 May 28th.
I’ve wanted a BA since I knew it was possible (roughly 14 years old) as I have never been happy with my boobs.
And after the birth of my daughter 4 months ago, even though I haven’t breast fed I have lost a lot of volume.
I talked to a lot of the clinics providing BA’s and MYA seemed the friendliest and most helpful.
So I had a consultation at the London MYA Clinic roughly two weeks ago and have set a date to meet the surgeon Dr.Sigh on May 12th.
My PC was lovely, and explained everything really well and answered all of my questions and I was more than happy.
My boyfriend didn’t want me to have the surgery but he could see how miserable with my boobs I am and so he said he’d pay for me to have them done and is fully supportive.
I’ve not told anyone else as every is always like –
“You’re young, your body is still growing, wait until you’re older!”
But in my personal opinion if you’ve researched into it and know what the whole thing includes and you still 100% want it, go for it.
Until people see your improved confidence and see how happy you are, they’ll understand. Bar being a little shocked at first.
Good luck with your BA (:

    Hiya
I found MYA to be excellent. To be honest I found them to have a vibrant, trendy up to date feeling about them. I went with Transform 10 years ago and what a difference I had with MYA…I’m really happy with the service, price, and most of all my boobs!! Harley Street is famous for being the cosmetic street in London but does not always mean the best company to go with but it is individual choice at the end of the day and who you prefer. Whether the nurse was qualified or not it is ultimatley the surgeon that does the BA. At MYA I was not looking for a nurse for my first consultation. The patient co-ordinator was fully experienced at MYA with BA’s and answered all my questions so this really to me makes no difference. Whether i’d had a nurse or not I really do not think this would have affected my decision. I also tried an implant under my bra when having my first BA at Transform 10 years ago and to be honest it really does not give a true reflection how you will look after!! I was very happy with MYA and am quite happy to recommend to all only because of my experience and how my boobs looks now!! Emmaxx

hey everyone, im 19 and hoping to have a breast enlargement. ive got my initial consultation tomorrow in liverpool. after reading all the forum posts, i dont feel nervous and would like to thank you guys for all the advice :)

i’d just like to know if anyone here is a teen, or was a teen when you had your boob op. also, what does everyone else think about teenagers getting their boobs done? all my family and friends are supporting me, but they still think i should wait, and that im wasting my money in going to such “extreme measures”.

    Hi Sara,
I was 17 when i first realised that i was not happy with my breasts. I was a very mature 17 year as was the rest of my body. My Mum was not supportive at all and like most parents tried and successfully talked me out of it. For the past 11 years i have still contiuned to be very unhappy with my breasts. They have not devleoped as my mum had promised me they would and infact they have gotten smaller as I have lost weight and the shape has changed because gravity obviously has an affect, but please bare in mind genetics has a part to play inthis as well. So at age 29 i am now doing something about it and having my BA done this friday with MYA Dr Singh.
It is a big decision and one that should not be made without careful consideration. Your consultation will be very helpful towards you making an informed decision. Good luck

    Hi sarah
im 19 and i had mine done on the 5th June with MYA. I only told my boyfriend about it and he wasnt too happy at first but new how unhappy i was. i had wanted it for ages (years actually). My parents werent happy at all but then came round when they new i was serious about it and supported me. I had saved for a while to get them done and im happy with the results. No regrets yett! but i dont think its too young as long as your sure its what you want.

i agree. i was in a position to get a breast enlargement when i was 18 but my family convinced me to wait. (im still only 21) im glad they did. my boobs havent grown since then but i have learnt a lot more. im not sure that age is the main issue. as long as you know as much as you can and are absolutely sure. make sure your mind is fit for it just as much as your body hun.

    Hi Sara
In my option i think you should wait a few years sorry hun but you did ask.your boobs change so much when you get older and you will benafit more in a few years time if you wait . Also if you are only nineteen i should imadgine by the time your twenty nine you will need another one.But you must do what your feel is right for you .Good luck xx
