Just be confident, and tell them how much you have considered and researched it. Let them know how you feel. I’m sure your mum will understand. X

I’ve just told my parents and they are surprisingly supportive!! Do your research and have it all to show them and answer any questions 🙂 I went to a consultation first to get all the info pack and answer my questions with my patient coordinator. Good luck Hun 🙂 xx

I told my mum and she wasn’t thrilled about it but more about putting myself through surgery as she had a bad experience but she knows how much it gets me down so is happy if it will make me happy 🙂 not that she could do anything about it if she didn’t want me to have it done! X

I’m 25 and have only told a few friends. Will tell my mum closer to op as I don’t want her to worry. I’ll leave it to her to tell my dad haha xx

I’m 38 and still couldn’t tell my mum! I had to tell her last week though as I went for rhinoplasty and she came with me, the nurse asked me about previous operations so it all came out…………xxxx

I told my mum once I had a date and after my consultation! I just told her straight and said I want her to be with me when I had it done etc! It took me so long to do it though and I got all hot and bothered when I did hah! She was a bit quiet and didn’t say much at first but she soon come round and has been the best help. I still haven’t told my dad though I’m kind of hoping he won’t notice!! Lol!! Xxx

I told my mum couple of days ago and she has been constantly in my case trying to put me off! I keep telling her that I’ve done my research and it’s what I want. If you are certain I’m sure your parents will be fine! They are supposed to worry etc . Good luck! X

My mums always know from me being about 15 years old that I always wanted to have a boob job and she’s been great through the whole thing! She knows how much I lack confidence because of the size of my chest so she’s really supportive of my choice 🙂 on the other hand though I still haven’t told my dad and my surgery is 45 days away, I don’t think he’ll be mad but maybe take a while to come round to the idea, I just don’t know how to how to start the conversation! haha I might just do what Charlotte said and hope he doesn’t notice! xx

Just tell them how it makes you feel and make sure you’re well researched to answer their questions so you seem more serious about it 🙂

I was so nervous as my mam and dad don’t believe in cosmetic surrgery but they took it really well. Just stress to them that you’ve researched and you’ve wanted it for a long time xx

i was 19 when i told my mum last year and i ended up crying trying to explain myself. When i went to my first consult i could answer loads of questions and i think my research put her mind at ease xx

I’ve only told one of my sisters who’s response was ‘WTF??’ i just said told her ‘I’m going to pretend you said ‘if that’s what you want I’ll support you’. Other than that my best friend is the only one I’ve told (she’s my 24hr chaperone for the op). I’m hoping my dad won’t notice and I don’t plan on telling my mum, she’s not the supportive type :/ Tbh my attitude is I’m doing it for me, not for anyone else, it’s my body, my money and my life. 🙂 xxx

Oh god this is my fear. I’m thinking not to tell her but then she will notice and then I have concerns like what if something bad happens. Just being silly. Booked in for the 26th march so going to have to tell her at some point :-S xx
