Hi girls was just wondering how you went about telling employers or if you got away with not telling them?
I’ve booked the time off as holiday, but am really uncomfortable telling them and was thinking if I could just get away with coming back in baggy clothes??? Xx

Hi grace, I’ve booked time off work since i needed to use 2 weeks annual leave otherwise would of lost it! I haven’t told anyone in work what im actually doing and i don’t plan to, only if people mention or ask ill tell them other than that i plan to wear loose clothing, i work as support worker and we wear our own clothes so im going to wear hoodies see if i get away with it 🙂 xx

I haven’t told anyone from work either 🙂
It’s one of those things… they might notice somethings changed… but… who really would actually ask if you’ve had a boob job!? If someone asks me, I’ll be honest… but otherwise – I don’t really intend on notifying the world :D! xx

I think that unless your going massive or going to get them out and show everyone no-one will notice. I think it’s quite a good time of year to have them done as now its getting chilly we’re a bit more covered up then by the time summers round we can just gradually show them off 🙂

Well that’s what I was thinking just riding the winter out in jumpers and baggy hoodies because I work in a office in a warehouse there’s no smart dress code… But obviously working in male environment I feel uncomfortable telling them the truth… In my personal life I’m fine with telling people but just thought I’d see how other people have approached this and glad to know majority keep it discreet xx

I work in a motor trade as a sales executive, and i am the only woman here :/ haha!! very male dominant job and they all know 🙂 I see them all as my brothers and really close to them, so they asked why i took the time off, so i tell them. Of course, I havent been telling everyone willy-nilly but if people ask, I dont see the reason to hide it. They have all been very supportive and dont find it a big issue as half of their missus have actually had their boobs done, so it sounds like its a very common things!! We’ve all been counting down to boobie day and very excited 😀 xx

Hi , I haven’t told work or anyone just family . I used two weeks holiday to have it done .
I haven’t gone big & have always worn gel bras so hopefully no one will notice I would die If they did then what a waste of
money my boob job would be lol .
I’m due back in work on Monday and getting really stressed over people noticing and also what to say as an excuse as to why I can’t do any lifting as I’m still in a bit of pain . Had my opp on September 10th

It is the best time of the year to get them done, jumpers, hoodies and baggy tops to keep it a secret, come summer they will of been use to you looking full in t shirts they won’t think twice. Be different in the summer wearing a dress or low cut top on week then going back to work with boobs. My dad is the only person I’ve told no one else is aware. I will only let people know if they ask xx

So far only my mum and best mate know, but it’s not secret I will tell the rest of my friends nearer the time… My op is 22nd oct, my job does involve a little lifting as well but I was just going to ask people to help me and if they say why, it’s not that heavy ill suppose ill say I feel a bit ill??? Lol yeah def best time to have them done at the start of winter… The men I work with are a bit pervy and I work with a lot a Eastern European women who love a gossip so just can’t see myself saying why I’m off in oct, just told people its because my birthday is 19th and wanted the week off…. Dreading going back after! Haha I’m only going to a large c/ small d !!

iv been that excited iv chewed everyones ears off at work about it! they’re all fed up of hearing about it haha . but we all get on really well and its a good mix of men and women. the holiday rota has a big line across my date with big writing saying “boob job!!! 🙂 ” just incase they forget….. ha but after reading what all you girls have put i should probably keep it to myself… ooops :S xxx

Haha that’s brilliant see I wish I could be more open about it, just easier to be straight up honest about it, but I’m not close to anyone really at work, a year ago I was but a lot of people got made redundant and others left.. Just kept thinking after I booked the holiday ooh should I tell em, do I have to tell em , would they say something when I’m back?? Feel better after seeing so many others keeping it quiet at work as well though xx

I didn’t tell anyone at work, they were funny about giving me time off without me making up some story (I’m rubbish at lying too!) so my surgeon just wrote them a letter saying she’s having a general anaesthetic and surgery at the hospital with the date & surgery time and that I need time off as soon as they read it they stopped asking questions! I think people have obviously noticed but unless they really know me haven’t dared ask! xoxo
