i’ve read everyones said that they got told to take their pill again 2 weeks post op, i got told i’ve got to wait 6 weeks 🙁 anyone else been told this? so confused now and emotions all over the place cos i take it to keep me regular! ahhh haha
I asked about this at my pre-op & the nurse said it’s fine to carry on as normal. If you’re on antibiotics after then it makes the pill not work but not sure if that is for contraceptive purposes only. I was a bit worried about this too. I’ve got my op Monday so I’ll make sure I note down to ask one of the nurses at the hospital.

Maybe depends what type of pill. I take microgynon and got told no pill 2 weeks before or after but everyone is different maybe give your nurse or oc a call to check x
thats the weirdest thing then cos i need to take mine to make me regular and it stops me being all emotional one min then angry the next hahahaha so i asked and she said 6 weeks?!? i’ve never heard anyone say that long before 🙁 @roobarb good luck for monday and thanks hunny 😀 xxxx
