The pill

Hi girls, I’m just wondering if anyone carried on taking the mini pill? (The one where you don’t have a break each month). I’m taking Cerazette & I can’t remember the last time I had a period & have been taking this mini pill for years, I have been told that I have to come off it 2 weeks before & up to two weeks after surgery, has anyone else had this problem & what did you do? I don’t want to stop taking it as I get really bad periods & it isn’t like the normal pill so don’t know what to do? Xx

I was told this but didn’t want to stop taking it like you so I asked if it was compulsory or best practice to come of prior to surgery. The nurse confirmed it was best practice to stop taking it but it was my decision whether I wanted to or not so ive decided to carry on taking it.

Hey I’m on this pill and I haven’t had period for 3 years!!so I told them I didn’t want stop it because I didn’t want periods agn the risk! They told me carry on:)

I’m on pill and my surgeon told me that it is fine I don’t need to stop will be checking soon tho with my PC
