the pill.. again

sorry wanted to post this again as i really want to start taking my pill again.. i’m 2 weeks & 1 day post op and i got told i have to wait 6 weeks.. has everyone else started theirs earlier than 6 weeks??

I took mine at exactly 2 weeks post op xxxx

i might just take it, i’ve not come on though and i stopped taking my pill 4 weeks ago.. my poor boyfriends had to wait 4 weeks and still waiting hahahah. can the anaesthetic mess up your periods do you know? xxxx

Haha i waited a week and couldn’t wait any longer but it did kill me

The pill increases the chance of blood clots which is the last thing you want. I’d hold off for as long as possible xx

Maybe double check with your gp, its probably different but I had my depo injection on day four post op and they said it was fine xx

I got told by the nurse I had to stop taking my pill two weeks before surgery and could start taking it again two weeks after? Xx

mine told me i had to wait 6 weeks, but i’ve never seen anyone say 6 weeks on here its always been 2 🙁 xx

It’s 2 weeks after so go ahead! Well I would anyways lol I only waited 2 weeks to go back on mine most people do I’ve never heard of having to wait 6 weeks!x
