The warranty

Hey guys can anyone help what does the 10 year warranty cover? My left boob seems to have gone different to my right one I had mine done 8 years ago now. They have ripples but that’s not to bad but now I feel like one breast looks different can anyone show me what rupture looks like? Xx

I’m not with Mya I’m with another company but where I had mine done there 10 year warranty covers any confirmed ruptures or capsular contracture
It should be that with all companies have you contacted Mya ? xx

Yeh I’ve contacted them I’m not sure if anything has gone wrong but my left boob just feels and looks different shape to my right one! So does The warranty mean that I won’t have to pay out anything else if they have ruptured x

What did they say ? They more then likely ask you to go to your GP and have test done to see if it has ruptured my friends had ruptured after 6 years of having them they are the ones that were recalled
what they do at the place I had mine at is within 3 years of having them done the surgery is free and the implants but after the 3 years you have to pay the surgery cost but implants are free if anything happens like rupture or capsular contracture within the other 7 years does that make sense
So depending on how Mya work you might have to just pay surgery cost if your still under warranty that’s how it works at mine

Ah yeh I get what your saying I stupidly lost my paper work so I can’t even remember what Implants mine are ! Mya is getting my paper work together and then getting back to me! My boob isn’t painfull at all or anything like that it just seems to hit a slightly different shape compared to my right one it’s all off a sudden happened it’s really strange! I’ll keep you updated! Also do you sleep in a sports bra at night I feel like mayne I should start doing this again? X

I’m not sure what a ruptured breast would look like lol x

How strange that is just all of a sudden happened I can’t imagine how your feeling
you must be so worried thinking all sorts
definitely keep me up dated ide like to know what they did for you in this situation
I’m only 2 weeks and 1 day post op I have to sleep in my sports bra for 6 weeks
But Ive heard some people sleep with it on at night even after the 6 weeks because it can keep the boobs supported and help keep the shape.for longer
a girl who I used to work with about 4 years ago had her breast done and she stopped wearing her sports bra around 4 weeks post op when your supposed to wear it for the full 6 weeks 🙈and hers went slightly wonky and slightly droopy 🙈
maybe try wearing it again in bed while your waiting to hear off Mya xx
