Things for pre-op girls to consider

Hi girls,

Just wanted to write a little post for pre op girls, I work for an underwear company and have been bra fitting for a couple of years! I have seen so many girls come in to be fitted and been so upset that they wasn’t measured the size they wanted to be! Now from being on here I’ve seen loads of girls saying they don’t mind if they end up bigger which I 100% agree with but to an extent, please please please girls really go in to detail with the end result and what your fitting size will be I know many people think that it’s ‘not important’ but it really is!! Making sure a bra fits you correctly is crucial because it can cause a number of problems for example sagging if it’s to big, wires digging in your breast tissue causing problems it goes on and it’s even more so important with implants because you don’t want wires pushing on your implants where the bra is to small I completely get the ‘bedroom underwear’ being skimpy and on for not very long but day to to day you really should wear a decent fitting comfortable which doesn’t mean granny bras at all lol!!!! I know they say implants meassure bigger than they look but girls please don’t be disheartened when you get fitted and go into the ‘big straps’ category I have had people who’ve come to me and ended up in tears because they didn’t like how big the bras looked which is a big reason why girls then buy smaller bras to hide it (NOT THE ANSWER) you need to go to a few shops try the sizes look at what bras you think you would like to fit in and really do your home work, you won’t be in the section of pretty padded bras if your above a DD/E and tbh nor should you want to show everyone the baby’s you got, also a massive massive thing to do before surgery is GET MEASURED I have fitted people who straight away say oh I’m an A cup then they get fitted and are a C at least sometimes yeah they will be an A but in the wrong back size etc and think your lying lol just cause it looks like it fits it doesn’t mean it actually does!! This will then give you a better idea of your end result you see people go from an A to a E and see someone who goes from a C to a E but the implant size is the same chances are the girl who’s an A hadn’t been measured, I know everyone is different and that’s completely true but for the sake of not being disheartened or disappointed it’s better to check! Also taking the biggest you get offered is always a bonus for someone who is an A and the most they can get is 400 or less but if your a C/D and adding it on top be realistic with what you want to be at the end, clothes may not fit the same or be tighter etc, this isn’t a negative post just want everyone to be happy with how their results turn out! Sorry I’ve gone on for ages but trust me girls bras are important not only for health reasons but they can change the appearance of how they look and how you feel about them! Can I also add you can get amazing full support and DD+ bras I don’t make that clear in there at all which I should have there is a lot of places now doing bigger sizes and a lot nicer to girls with bigger boobs feel amazing to, but they are a bit for pricey in some places which isn’t a dilemma just something to think about! I know that the perception can be bigger boobs same size bra which unfortunaltly it dosent go like that xxxxxx

There are so many people saying they’ve gone from an A to an E, I just can’t see that happening for me, and I truely was an A!
Some bra shops measure bigger as they’re bras are smaller (Victoria secrets as one example) and I personally think that this is giving some false expectations. Obviously some styles will allow you to change up or down a size depending. I’ve also been told fake boobs measure bigger than real is this common? X

Yeah I have seen a lot of girls say it and tbh a lot of girls are an A like you say your genuinely are but someone’s where girls are unhappy with the size because they are small they automatically think they are an A lol, yeah some places do measure you to fit their stock which I find really bad because your allowing people to buy and wear something that might not actually fit. Yeah some bras if they are tighter you can go up on the back and down in the cup to give you the same fit, I’m not really sure I’ve seen people talk about it but from seeing boobs all day everyday I think if your a E the your a E with natural boobs they aren’t as full and dont sit as high up on your chest like what implants can but I’m not sure that that would make them measure bigger, with mine I think that the size they look now is the size that they will measure when I can but that may be cause I have experience that I have a ruff idea what the size should look like if that makes sense lol xxxx

so where is the best place to go get measured im having my BA on the 15th jan and am having 550cc as i have had twins 3 years ago and my tits have tottally gone to pot i used to be an a b4 i had the boys then went up to a c and now im a empty b lol xx

If you have one near you go to Boux avenue hun, you get fitted into the bras not just measured over so that they know it fits exactly how it should fit, what size did you ask to be? I think it just gives you a better idea of what your end result will be if you know what you are to start with if you know what I mean xxxx

well he has told me that i have to have them that big as i am border line on having an uplift and i really didnt want to have that done so he said i would be a dd-e but i seem to hear everyone saying thats the size they will be yet everyone has different size inplants so i totally dont have a clue of what size i will be i just cant wait to have fuller boobs lol but i am worried about weather they will look silly just because i dont want to have an uplift 🙁 xx

Ahh yeah that’s understandable, yeah everyone is different but you can get a ruff idea what your likely to be from what size implant takes you on average how many cups, I would say from that you would be a E/F, I don’t think that will look silly at all I think that would be a nice size just have a look at other girls who have had the same and see what they have ended up, if you put in the search box 550 it will bring up all the posts with it in and look through and see if you can pick out the post 6 week ones xxxx

Sarah, I got offered an uplift due to having a lot of skin as opposed to boob, after breast feeding my two and dropping from a FF breast feeding to an empty B/C but I chose against it and just got 400cc. I’m so glad that was my decision as my skin is much more taught and I definitely didn’t need am uplift. I’m only 1 day PO but my photos are up from 3 hours PO if you want an idea. My pre op photos, my boobs are slightly bigger than usual as it’s the time of the month and I put a whole cup size on so they’re not as accurate. Debenhams do some lovely bras in their D-GG range 🙂 xxx

Xgirls debhams go up H cup my mum is bra fitter there and ambassador for wounder bra so she always fits me up and say lots of lady’s are walking around in the wrong size bras annsummer do up a H cup too b4 my last baby I was natural F/GG big bust anyway found it pretty easy to buy bras n stuff but with my 1st op with 32g I hated the fact that I had to wear push bra but own bust use to sit quite nice in bra it’s mind filed out there in the implants world but to be your sourgen can’t promise you a cup size it’s just ruff idea af I had the my baby I went from GG down DD was told with 385/415cc with uplift on top ide be a DD and turned 32G so it goes show you never know wot your going to get my friend she told 500cc and she worried about the size so she went down to 400cc and now the implants are to small for her skin and look saggy so really no size 100% risk free but surgeons are not set out to make u look huge they will give you wot they think will fill you out and go with your frame x

kelsie wot size was b4 your op and wot CC did you go with and wot cup size are u now if u don’t mind asking ? Xx

Hi Sarah I had a full uplift it’s not one to take too lightly huni if I could have had bigger implants instead I would took it the whole full uplift isn’t nice at all did he tell you may need one later down the line ? X

Yeah I agree, also where you have had a bigger bust before your op so your comfortable with being that size, I just think sometimes girls forget that when their boobs get bigger so do the bras and some people don’t like the looks of bigger bras it’s just best to check and be safe! I work for Boux Avenue they go to a G cup but I won’t have any problems getting bras, I was uneven before a C in my left and D in my right I had 450/325 to even them out and I’m now a F/FF I asked to be an E but I knew I would end up bigger xxx

I like boux it’s good shop I started shopping there and annsummers when lasenza closed down to right it’s impornt to try on your bras as all shops are different not keen on VS they don’t seem to be uk sizes . Your size looks lovely on you 450 cc is a good rounded off size I had that 2nd round have they settled down ? X
