time off work?!

How long has everyone took off work for their recoverys? Im a teaching assistant..would 3 weeks be long enough before returning to work? Thanks! X

My coordinator said 2 weeks would be enough for my BA but I’m resigning from work anyway as I’m going to uni so I’m resigning early 🙂 so I will have 4 weeks off xx

What sort of job do you do? Ooooh exciting…what you studying at uni? Which surgeon you having? Sorry bout all the questions! I have a consultation with Dr Kazazzi on tuesday 🙂 x

I work for Travelex which is foreign currency exchange but I left heavy bags of currency and such which I told the pc and she said two weeks would be okay 🙂 they can write you a doctors note so you can have the time off that you need 🙂 I’m going to be studying Business at Leeds uni, so thankfully I will have a MYA clinic around if I have any problems! I’m having dr.Chantarasak for mine as I wanted natural looking results at a clinic near Swindon 🙂 xx

Whens your op? I was going to have mine in the summer hols but would have had to borrow money so hoping to book for start of xmas hols so i can save in time but only get 3 weeks off for xmas x

I’m back tomorrow after breast re-aug on Monday x

Hi Louise, I booked 2weeks off. I work in an office so nothing physical. Yesterday I was thinkin no way can I go back to work in 2weeks I didn’t feel like I would recover that quick but today I’m a million times better an thinkin il probably cut the time short an save my hols! I think 3 weeks an you’ll be feeling fine to go back as a teaching assistant, just make sure you do nothing but rest the first week xx

I was back to work 6 days post op but would have been happy going back at 4 days. My job isn’t physical and I had overs to fill breast tissue so found it quite a good recovery xx
