Hi I’m hoping to have my op done 19th January fingers cases, it’s not definate yet but I’ve already booked my holidays in work for 18th – 24th, how long would you recommend off.
My job is very practical in terms of helping bed bound patients and doing a lot of pulling and pushing, helping them stand or moving them up the bed so bearing a lot of weight and now I’m worried x
Hiya. I have the same job role. My op is on the 6th Jan and having unders. Add me and follow how I get on. I’ve booked off from the 6th till 18th just to be sure that I’ll be fit enough xxx
Thanks Hun, I’m going to try and get another week off once the date is final. Hopefully! I’ve not seen my surgeon yet, seeing him on Monday so hopefully all will go from there xxx
@lauren213 I am a nurse and I go back onto nights tomorrow ? I’ve had just under 3 weeks off after my op and I had overs! I don’t think I could’ve gone back any sooner than 2 weeks tbh xx
