    I’m looking to have my surgery around July-August time before I go back to university but I work over the summer for the local government. It’s mainly dealing with customer relations enquirers so there is no heavy duty lifting or anything it’s mainly being sat at a desk responding to calls etc… I was wondering how much time roughly is needed off so I can double check with work! I’ve been advised to have an uplift with implant?? I assume everyone deals with recovery differently but just so I have an idea… please help x

    Hey chloe, I’m having mine on 21st of june and I’ve only taken 1 week off work;
    i work in boots so its mainly stacking shelfs and deliveries ( which can mean heavy boxes) but I’m going back to just do light duties for a while; hopefully should be okay, I’ve seen girls have no pain but others who have loads..
    take a week then see how you feel mid week and ring up to arrange cover if you need to xxx

    I had just under 2 weeks off. I work in an office. I’d advise as much time off as possible x

    I’m a care assistant and I’ve booked three weeks off , I’m two weeks 4 days post op, I don’t think I would be ready to return back yet. I have 1 week left and going to tell them I need to do light duties ?

    I work at a desk all day and came back today on my 8th day post op! I found driving and changing gears quite hard and felt at times I probably shouldn’t be driving at all. At work it wasn’t too bad, it was uncomfortable but I got through it! Couldn’t take any more than a week off so had no choice! But on day 6 and even yesterday I felt like I wouldnt be able to go back and then this morning I woke up and felt 100 times better!!
    But I would still advise as much time as possible really!

    Hiya id say at least a week if you have overs probably 2 if you have unders, and also keep in mind they recommend no driving for 2 weeks so just to think about if u drive to work x

    I drove for the first time 13 days post op, I found it quite hard pulls on my upper Breast. Once hubby adjusted my steering wheel it was a lot better ?, they said to me don’t drive for two week, if I do before hand i must be able to do an emergency stop.
