Time off work

Hi girls, I was just wondering if anyone on here is a beauty therapist or nail tech? I do mostly nails and intermit waxing. I was wondering how long did yous take off work? my PC said 2 weeks but my boss for some reason thinks I’m going to needs around 5-6 weeks??? tia xx

Hi Megan…im not a beauty techician but im a dental nurse and involves moving arms alot and i had 1 week off and that was more than enough! As long as u dont lift anything heavy or lift your arms above your head u shud b fine with 1 to 2 weeks definately xx

2 weeks should be fine Hun, I’m 16 DPO and I feel like I could go back to work already I’m lifting quite heavy things now with no pain or struggle xxx

I’m sure after 2 weeks you’d be fine for nails but might want to take slightly longer for waxing due to the force and pressure needed ect, see how you get on anyway x

Thank you girls, I thought maybe taking a week and a half off but ill ask dr traynor when I meet him. Do you know whether you can get sick notes or anything like that? xx
