Time Off Work?

I’ve booked my surgery for 18th September with Mr Netri and just wondering how much time you all booked off work?

I’m having unders and I’ve booked 9 days off, will this be enough time? xx

Ive also got 9 days off (couldnt get any longer hols at work) I am having uplift and implants. I work in a pretty relaxed office and they all know im getting it done so will be kind to me when i got back (i hope) haha xxx

I wish I could take longer off but I’m going away in December so need to save some holidays for then! I work in an office too so it shouldn’t be too bad, think it would be worse if I had a manual job xxx

I’m having op in a few weeks, booked two and a bit weeks over summer holidays hopping this will be longe enough as I do have a manual job. I should go back to light duties. I hope that I’ll be able to cope as I’m having unders too. Should be fun (not). X

Mya nurse gave me a sick note for 2 weeks as i have no holiday left to book and even if i did i didnt wanna waste them for recovery after surgery but for actual holiday. If u ask nurse at your pre op they will give u 2 weeks sick note 🙂

I had 2 weeks off and I had overs. I was fine to go back to work painwise but I was absolutely exhausted every day by about 2pm. im 3 weeks post op now and absolutely fine. Just remember it’s a big operation and the pain and uncomfortable nights really take their toll – good luck with your op and take it easy afterwards xxx

@amberlouise1803 good luck beautiful!! I also work in an office and I’m having a re-aug. For my first op, I only took a week off and I was fine to do light activities (i.e. typing/answering phones!), everyone is different but nine days should be fine. Do you have to drive to work?

@kamdavies what exactly does your sick note say hun? Does it mention the procedure and does it mention MYA?

Oh I’ve got Netri on the 28th of July. I’ll let you know how it goes Amber!! I’m having 400CC under the muscle. I go in on the friday and I’ve told work i’ll go back the following wednesday. They said I could work from home if I struggle. Winning!

I had Under’s 450cc on 5th June, I took 5 days off work and the weekend, but I couldn’t even walk properly so had to phone in sick on the Monday and Tuesday. Was a lot better by Wednesday which was 9 days. But I struggled, getting on tubes gave me panic attacks, and anyone that came to close was scary. So take two if you can, also with the belt you have to wear if you’re getting unders, your shoulders are really high up and you walk and stand differently. And work is the last place you want to be in. xxx 5 weeks post op ow, and everything was worth it xxx

@vanlife Thank you! I do usually drive to work but i’ll be able to get a lift to and from for a few days I hope, heard some people say they can’t drive until two weeks xxx

@dashydash Thank you! I can only take 9 days off but if I need to I will ring in sick for the extra few days. I should be able to get lifts into work as opposed to getting the train etc so hopefully won’t be too bad. They all know in the office I’m having it done anyway so if I was really struggling and needed to go home I don’t think it would be too much of an issue (I hope!) xxx

I did loads of research on him and i’d followed him from Transform to use him specifically. Very excited. The countdown is on! I’ll keep you updated!

@hfox I know a few girls who have had him and they all speak so highly of him, they have amazing boobs and the scars are so minimal and faint xxx

Hey I only took 2 days off and then had the weekend so 4 days in total and I was completely fine. I work in a office as well. Only thing for me was the commute but I just asked for a seat and had people snarl at me thinking nothing was up haha! Good luck xx
