Time off work!!!

Hi girls
I was suppose to be meeting my surgeon Wednesday unfortunately he had to cancel meaning it’s another 16 days to wait, I am wanting to take a max 2 weeks off work but I’m wanting to do it around the summer holidays so my mother can be my chaperone is it best to book my holidays off work ASAP or do I wait until he tells me what dates he has free and then to book it off?

You can always call your PC to see the dates the surgeon has if they have them that far in advance? I paid a deposit to secure my op date as it fits in with my partners annual leave. (I’m currently on maternity).
Atleast you would have a rough guide for when to book your leave then?
I meet my surgeon tomorrow but knew the date worked so wanted to book it sooner rather than later,

I booked my surgery after my initial consultation with PC, before meeting the surgeon.
As Gemma said, contact your PC as they keep the diaries and dates. But in order to book the surgery, you need to have the deposit paid first but I understand that’s done already ? Hope everything goes well and you can book the date which suits you xx
