TIME OFF WORK!!

Can people let me know how long they had off work. This would be really helpfull. Thanksxx

I was hopeing to only have a couple of days off but dont think that will happen!! How did you feel after the op? are you happy with the result.xx

first couple of days after the op i felt really sore cos of the drains, but picked up by saturday! im still a little sore now but its bareable. Still got strapping on atm so i cant really tell until i get it off tomorrow, are u having unders or overs xx

Not sure yet. I think they may suggest unders as I dont think I have alot of spare skin. A few people have told me this is more painful. Can I add you hun?xx

I’ve had to book a month? Plus ill still sneak in a holiday in sept o show them off! Ha! x

Hi Rachel, wow thats a long time, I was only planning on 5 days at the most. Think this is very optomistic of me.lol. And yeah a holiday is defianitely required to show them off, think the bikini buying is what im most excited about. No more padded bikinis, I cant wait!!xx

i had 9 days but i think 7 would have been okay, i wouldn’t have any less ! x

I’m planning on taking 2 wks off… I’m getting x2 procedures ( BA & eyes) so I think I’ll need the 2 wks off so I don’t frighten my clients with my bruised face!! 😉 plus it won’t harm my boobies to have a 2wk break either 🙂 x

I booked a week off.. But then added a couple extra days because I didn’t feel ready xxx

I had to have a month off, 2 weeks holiday, 2 weeks sick as I just wasn’t healing properly around one nipple after a lift & was still in quite a bit of pain xx

I had my op last Tuesday and had 415cc under, mind you this this was a re-org as I had a rupture, but I did go bigger. Was due to go back to work to day, but went back yesterday as I felt ok. I think it all depends on your job and how understanding your employer is on letting you do ‘light duties’. Everyone is different and you’ve got to listen to your body. Hope that helps. xx

I have a really physical job and could get bashed at any time so just don’t want to take the risk? x

Hi Kerry – I had overs on a Wednesday, and was back in work the following Monday. I didn’t have any pain though, and everyone is different. Plus I only have a desk job, so also depends on what you do x

Yeahh I’ve had some crap off the girls in work with but not from my bosses, I shouldn’t stress about it hun if you’re not better before returning to work you’ve got to put your health first else it’ll only set you back.. you can’t be fired its unfair dismissal, yes it’s your choice but surgery is surgery at the end of the day, good luck 🙂 xx
