Time off work?!

Does anyone know If the surgeons will give notes to sign you off work? I work in a nursery & are holidays are restricted so would struggle getting the time I needed off! Xx

I asked my pc about this and she said mya can write you a sick note but I know for a fact my workplace wouldn’t accept anything but one from my gp so I’ve had to book annual leave! But yes they will provide you one if you ask! x

Hiya I work in a nursery, I was off for 2wks, I took 3 days holiday nd 7 off, was rele lucky she understood nd was allowed it off. MYA did give me a note to say I couldn’t go swimming and not lift for 6wks as boss had to have one so I would ask them x

Most companies need from fro your doctor, I’m managed to get mine as full paid sick leave for 6 weeks as I’m a student and part time lifeguard and can return when I’m ready! But they need one from GP not surgeon! Xx
