Tomorrow

My op is tomorrow and I’m so nervous. I keep worrying I don’t have everything I need. I feel so under-prepared.. 2 days before I started taking arnica tablets as I didn’t receive them in time to start a week before, I’ve not applied moisturiser or bio oil to prevent stretch marks, I only have one sports bra as I’m worried about sizing, I have minimal toiletries ready for aftercare. Please tell me everything is going to be ok haha x

Haha alana I’m the same! I don’t even understand how to take the arnica tablets. My sports bras haven’t been delivered and I don’t know whether I need to bring pjs or a dressing gown tomorrow if I’m just a day case. Considering going shopping after work :/ help me too! Haha x

I took a dressing gown Sian just to put over my op gown while I was waiting xo

I haven’t bought a dressing gown with me and I’m staying at my boyfriends tonight. Oh no! Super stressed now haha! X

should of would of could of… you have the things you need and anything you realise you need at a later date you can either ask someone kindly or most places allow online shopping now!

i took my friend for hers last year she didnt have a dressing gown she just sat under the covers until she went downa nd then held it at the back near her bum while she walked down to theatre! dont stress! xxx

Oh no Lexi, I wouldn’t worry too much about the arnica. If you can apply it after you should be ok!

I literally took slippers, dressing gown, fresh underwear, pjs, make up (not sure what I was thinking), money, lip balm, socks and I didn’t use anything other than the clothes I wore in as you put the gown on straight away and they give you slippers and my room was so warm I didn’t need a dressing gown l. I couldn’t think of anything worse than putting make up on after lol. Actually I did use my phone charger and a v pillow in the car so I wouldn’t worry to much xx

Also my sports bra for over my strapping as Mr singh keeps your nipples out but actually it felt like they weren’t going to drop off so much with a bra on xx

I got a macom and she said that was perfect for now, I don’t think it’s as important as if you don’t have strapping. I did by another that isn’t front fastening and I can’t think of anything worse trying to get that on right now xx

alana babe don’t worry! they give you a blanket to wrap round you when you walk to theatre as you’re not allowed to wear your dressing gown (i wasnt anyway!) and my sports bra didn’t fit. it didnt even go half way round me haha! they let you off as you have strapping 🙂 good luck, enjoy it xx

Hiya lovely, I’m in tomorrow too! I’m sat in my hotel room round the corner from the hospital now with my mother and sister, we’ve just ordered pizza while I can still eat haha.
I’ve probably forgotten something but it’s too late to worry about it now, try not to stress. I know I’ve got my V pillow and my Macom bra so I’m trying not to worry although the closer it gets the more it’s sinking in that it’s happening tomorrow!
Everything will be fine and all the worry will be so so so worth it tomorrow! xx
