Top/Dress Sizes after BA?

Hi girls,

I was just wondering, after your BA did you need to buy larger sized tops/dresses in order to compensate for your boobs? How does this look on the rest of the body? Is it hard finding clothes that fit tight to the rest of your body but big enough for the boobs?

Personally I find it a nightmare. I’m 6 weeks post op next week and can’t wait to be able to wear normal bras and any top I want and not have to find ones that cover my sports bra. I went out for dinner on Saturday and wore and normal looking bra (still post surgery bra though) and couldn’t find anything to wear. I’m usually a size 6-8 on top and now hardly any of my clothes fit me, it’s a nightmare I never took this into consideration before having a ba.
I definitely need to go shopping and buy larger tops (guessing about size 12/14 now) or need to adjust my fashion sense a bit as I can now wear tops/dresses I couldn’t before and vice Versa. Still don’t regret having a ba and absolutely loving my results and any excuse to go shopping!! Lol xx

I would say it depend what size implant you get. I only got 325cc and all my clothes still fit. In my head before op I thought I’d need bigger size tops but this isn’t the case. Hope this helps xxx

@lauren your absolutely right. Forgot to mention I had 550cc overs so quite a big implant and I’ve gone from 34 a/b to 34f xxx

Yeah Hun I deffo think it depends on size. Tbh I think anything up to maybe 400 or even 450 and you should still fit in same size. This is just my opinion and would be good to hear from other girls with different sized implants. Xxx

I still fit in a lot of my old clothes and I was a 6/8 and had 350cc, the only problem I’m having is tight, structured tops in a 6, I definitely can’t do that anymore lol! & a lot of my dresses are now seriously booby whereas before they weren’t..
If you are between sizes you’ll probably have to go up to the bigger size but if you’re the same size in everything then I guess you’ll be alright in them still! If something is too tight now though so I doubt it will fit if you have big enough implants x
