Totally numb!

Had my BA this morning, am feeling good and managing the pain ok so not too bad. However my whole chest area feels completely numb! Can’t feel it at all even when I touch it! Is this normal?? :-S

yeah its normal, so dont worry it should come back 🙂 mine still hasnt came back yet and im 6 months po, dont think mine will :/ x x

Hi Hun, I’m two weeks po, and the lower part of both is still numb. And I was all numb on the right straight after. SO it’s completely normal. It will come back gradually, but there may be some loss permanently, like part of your boob, but not all. Don’t worry x x x

Thanks girls 🙂 trying not to worry about it but I literally can’t believe how numb it is, wasn’t really prepared for it! I hope some of it comes back at least! To be fair if i could feel anything i would probably be complaining about the pain. Aw Beth has yours not come back at all? You poor thing. Am generally happy with the results though so I can’t complain! Xx

Hi Belle, my left boob and nipple were totally numb and underneath both boobs was really numb, now 6wks po and starting to get some feeling back, was beginning to think I had lost the feeling in my nipple but slowly coming back, the girls on here all heal at different rates, we just need to be patient (easier said than done) xx

Some of mine have came back, about half hasnt. And i cant feel my nipples still 🙁 i was like you, i really wasnt prepared for them to go numb. Noone told me that was a side affect. But even so, its worth it still 🙂 x x x

Ok I’m 5 days po now and the numbness is making me freak out a little bit again. It would be ok if it was just a few areas but its literally the whole of both breasts, I can’t feel a thing when I touch either of them. Please tell me at least some feeling will come back, it’s so awful it makes it feel like they aren’t part of me at all cause I can’t feel them!?

I had my BA on Wednesday also & mine are still numb! I wish I could fast forward a few months just to stop the worrying lol xx

All of my nipples and most of my breasts. It’s only like the sides I can feel then in the centre between them x

Ha ha Vicki that’s me too one nipple on lol, my right boob is still mostly numb can feel the sides but nothing else 5 weeks po x
