TT all done x

Hi girls my admission was 8am this morning i went down at around 2pm.. i was given a cocktail of drugs about 5 minutes before they put the mask on to send me off and had music on which was nice.. i felt great lol and the people taking care of me were lovely.. when i woke up i was back in my room with my garment on.. i have things on my legs massaging them and a drain on my right hand side.. theres barely anything coming out of it.. i was given lots of morphine before being took to my room as they are all well aware im rubbish with pain.. the morphine has made me feel a bit sickly at times and ive been a bit spaced out all day but its quite a nice feeling im relaxed etc.. for the first hour after surgery i had some stinging and burning but nothing major the nurse said that would calm down and it did.. i had tea and toast and a little while later i got up and went to the toilet with a nurse.. i took it slow and managed just fine very minimum pain.. i watched a bit of tv and had a 1hr nap.. i then had tuna mayo sandwich a can of coke and a cup of tea.. and now im watching tv.. i havent had anymore drugs i still feel spaced out etc.. pain is minimal.. im having more morphine before i sleep.. i discussed pain meds for going home tomorrow.. with my boobs i had tramadol but now its become a controlled drug they cant prescribe anything stronger than codiene so thats just a heads up for u all.. my tummy is really quite flat 🙂 my sides go in beautifully i cant see under my garment but im liking my shape etc already!.. oh also all the staff have been lovely really kind and helpfull.. im going to add a few pics to my profile shortly feel free to add me to have a look.. or if u have any questions feel free to ask.. i will post another update tomorrow x

Hey babe, congrats on the surgery! I hope you don’t mind me asking but did you get a mini TT or a full TT? I’m booked in for a TT and BA with Mr Marcelino on the 8th July. He said I could either go with the full or mini TT, but wih the mini, my tummy will still be the same at the top so I’m just trying to do research on what would be best for me. I hope you don’t mind the add. I’ve got pics of the my stomachs current situation lol..

Thanks hun.. i had a full tummy tuck because i had stretch marks above my belly button and a bit of loosness from pregnancy plus i needed full muscle repair.. i just had a look at ur pics everything below ur belly button will be fixed with a mini just depends if ur happy to have the top left the way it is if u want a flat tight washboard tum u might be better going for a full just depends whats inportant to u hun.. i will send u a pic of my tummy b4 and after im only 1 day post op though x

Hi Missy congrats on your surgery, which surgeon did you have for the TT I’m supposed to be meeting Dr Monuir on Tuesday but can’t find much on him doing TT

I’ve read that Traynor does the TT procedure but I’ve not even been offered him or given a choice of 2 , I’ve read that Mounir is more a breast man . I’ve tried getting hold of my coordinator for 2 days now with no response . Not good . How are you doing now your a few days post ?

Hi hun how are u.. did u have a gd time where did u go? X.. im not feeling to bad im always sore and uncomfortable and its really hard not being able to do anything.. tbh its a roller coaster ride u have gd n bad days fingers crossed.its all worth it in the end coz at the moment it feels like recovery is going to take forever x

I went to Salcombe in Devon – it was lovely.

I have been following a few girls on realself.com (I would recommend this site) and it seems very common to feel a bit down and have some regret during the healing process from a TT. Then you feel better and look in the mirror and think WOW!!! I’m sure it will be worth it hun.

Hehe I had better remind myself of this in a few weeks when it’s me feeling rotten!!

Ah fab hun.. i agree realself is great ive been looking everything up on there.. when the swelling goes and my tummy loosens off im sure i will be pleased but that can take months u really need patience with this.. well when it comes to ur turn i’ll be here to reassure u.. i will put pics up soon got my 1 week appointment tomorrow x

Hi hun im 6 weeks po now everything is healing fine im more or less back to normal im still completely numb, still have some tightness and it hurts if i press any of the muscles.. other than that all gd.. its perfectly normal to feel the way u do i was the same but honestly the stressing is all for nothing u will be fine 🙂 .. the healing process with tt is slow.. but now i feel like im getting somewhere.. u just have to think positive its all worth it in the end x
