Hi all,
I was told I had TBD back in September and since then I have for my breasts corrected. (5th March 2018). Overall, I am more pleased with how I look but I still have some minor issues. More so with the areolae. They’re still ‘puffy’ when relaxed (nipple disappears into the raised areola). I also got them reduced in size but the left areola is quite a bit smaller than my right, this is annoying me significantly but I can’t tell if I’m being too obsessive/paranoid about it. So should I leave them as they are or look into revision surgery? I will post pics of my before, after and one where I’ve drawn around the areola that I wish to correct.
I’m just researching about tuberous breasts as I hate mine, I think your afters look great!!
Did you have implants too or just areola correction? I think they look great! Don’t even look like the same person! x
I don’t think it’s noticeable on these pictures that they’re different. They look really good. But if You’re still not comfortable with they way they look I’d go back and see what can be done? I don’t think you’re being paranoid or obsessive at all.
I’m having implants in January an iv been told I have mild tubular breasts that mild the surgeon didn’t even write it on but my biggest concern with be my nipples. Petrified they’re gonna turn out massive or that they won’t look good xx
I’m sure your surgery will go to plan @stephhynesx but it is nerve-racking, it’s not exactly a small decision you’ve made as you are going under the knife after all. But in my case my breasts made me so depressed and there was virtually no day that went by that I didn’t think about them and how ugly they made me feel. So, I am glad I made the decision, just annoyed at the asymmetry of the areolae and the fact that the surgeon did not manage to correct the ‘puffy’ look to them when they’re relaxed. So, I’m meant to be getting a second surgery come December from the same surgeon but I am unsure whether to trust him or not as he was unable to correct it in the first place so who is to say that he will this time round? Just wish everything went well for everyone going under a surgical procedure :/ xx
Yeah I felt the same about my boobs to so it’s a shame you’ve spent all that money on a “correction” for you to still be unhappy. Maybe talk to different surgeons? I’m having Dr Traynor with Mya an don’t have any doubt in my mind I can’t wait. I’m jus scared that an implant would stretch my nipples. They’re not massive but they’re not tiny. I think if they stayed the same size with implants they’d look more in proportion with a bigger boob so I’m hoping that’s the case.
Good luck in your next surgery! Hopefully they can sort it out for you. I don’t think you’re being paranoid about it, An right to look into it. Xx
@stephhynesx From what I’ve been told by surgeons implants do make your areolae bigger to a degree but not majorly. I have my second procedure this upcoming Monday and I’m nervous as he’s cutting into the areola and not going around it again he doesn’t want to disrupt the scarring I have as they’ve healed well. I am nervous about the incision going through my areola and the scar it may potentially leave but the healing process of it seems to be very good so fingers crossed. I hope that this resolves all of my problems. I wish you all of the best with your surgery journey x
