Hello Everyone!
So, I’ve just woken up after my first night with 275cc silicone high profile sunglandular implants.
Just a little more info about what my boobs like before the op and also my experience of the day.
I had quite moderate tubular breasts since age 12/13 as I started to develop. I always knew there was something not quite right with them from that age so actually had been considering correction for about ten years (I am now 25). I never actually thought I would put the idea into motion though because I was always off spending my money on other things!
Anyway, bringing us to present day. I find myself in a financially stable position so went ahead with a consultation at the Liverpool clinic. My PC is Charlotte and I must say she is one of the loveliest people I ever met! After meeting Dr Traynor (who I must say did act very distant on my first consulatation) who confirmed with me what is always known – that I had tubular/constricted breasts.
I was told that maximum size I could go was 300cc as stretching the skin more than that would be a problem. Let me tell you – as of right now I am so glad I decided on 275. Worth noting here that my breast size before hand was a moderate/full B – but I was all nipple! Hilarious as it was, he strongly suggested an areola reduction too, so that is just what I did.
Fast forward to next few consultations and yesterday – Dr. Traynor was the sweetest of them all to me. What a lovely, lovely man. Do not be put off him if he seems a bit moody at first – probably having a bad day/exhausted.
I arrived at Preston First Trust Hospital yesterday at 11am, and from the moment I walked in everything was a breeze. Everybody was so polsite and accommodating!
I got taken to my plush little room, changed into my gown, wee’d in a little cup which would be tested for pregnancy later on, whacked my ever so sexy compression socks on and settled myself into bed to snooze.
Not long after the anaesthetists, nurse and surgeon (Dr.Traynor) came in to give me a thorough check and make sure there was absolutely no information they were missing. I’m not a very straight forward case (I cannot use certain anesthesia eg hepatoxin agents, adrenaline or histamine).
Lunchtime came around and I got called into theatre. Now, until that moment I had not been in the slightest bit nervous but let me tell you, that changed very quickly. The nurse was sweet and tried to distract me by talking about my surname (a common topic with strangers as they are well aware it’s not typically British haha).
I got taken into the operating room, lay down and had all the little stickers put on me, a cannula in my hand and then onto the anaesthetic. I’ve been under before but the feeling will never not be weird. I would describe it as slight pins and needles working their way up from your arm to your brain – then you’re out like a light!
I was in theatre for two hours. I woke up shivering like mad. Partly because a slight shiver is common after general anaesthetic and also because my body has trouble regulating its own temperature and it was FREEZING in there. I looked down at my new boobs straight away and could see how lovely they were.
I got wheeled off back to my room where my mum was waiting and proceeded to chat utter shit because I was so high/doze off every few minutes. Nurses checked my vitals very often and wrapped me up like a burrito! After about an hour I was bursting for the loo, so called the nurse in to help. It was very strange and the room spun a fair bit but I managed on my own in my own time. Shortly after that my MACOM post surgical bra was put on which was very uncomfortable but once it’s on you feel less pressure on your boobs and nipples.
Come 6pm it was time for me to go! I said bye and thanked everybody who had took care of me.
On my arrival I had my dad waiting for me with a speciality Italian dish that I (no joke) had been waiting ALL WEEK for. Made my day.
Anyway, pain and discomfort wise – right after the op there was only mild discomfort, what hurt first and the most was my left nipple. They mentioned there had been some seeping. It is also the only nipples that has extra high sensitivity at the moment, my right one is totally numb. I must say I got a fair few shooting pains last night but I expected that, nothing so dire that it makes me want to scream. I had real trouble sleeping on my recliner chair, for about five hours sleep 🙁 better than nothing but ideally I should be getting some more.
Despite the pain and discomfort so fair, I would still do it again. Just remember to stay on top of your mess and don’t do too much post surgery because your body really needs its rest, it’s been through quite the trauma.
I hope this information has been useful to anyone with similar circumstance to mine or just to anyone who is thinking about booking their first consultation!
Thanks for sharing 🙂 Charlotte is also my PC and I’m having mr Traynor in a few weeks time. Nice read yours all went well! Hope your recovery is good!! 😀
Ps I’m either getting 275 or 300cc HP unders! Not sure whether to get the slightly bigger to stick with 275…!!
Hi Lucy!
I (like you) considered 300’s, but am glad I didn’t go for them. I’m only 5’4 and when I tried the 300’s on I felt like they made me look bigger than I actually am and very top heavy.
When is your surgery date?
Thanks Gemma! Its on MONDAY!! Im honestly bricking it now… so scared. Im thinking towards 275cc also, and Mr Traynor said as Im quite small he was happy with my choosing a smaller size. How are you feeling now? How long did you need off work? Im hoping 1 week max! Maybe even 4 days… i work in an office, reckon I could manage it??
Which bra would you recommend? I still need to buy one, but the Macoms are so pricy! Thanks 🙂 xx
Hi Gemma, I met with Dr Traynor yesterday. I also have very slight tubular boobs which I’ve always known but always been told off my doctors to let myself grow. I’m now 21 on Friday and they still look the same, not fully developed. He mentioned to me about a line under that may not disappear due to the shape of my boobs, did he mention this to you?
So lovely to hear that everything went well, I’m so excited to get mine done now. He has suggested 300-350 for me xx
I have my surgeon consultation with dr kazzazi on Tuesday and I feel that I also have tuberous breasts. I am worried that he will refuse to operate or that they will still look tuberous post op. I have added you if that’s okay xx
Hi Gemma, I am so happy to have stumbled upon your post as I too am fairly certain that I have TBD. I hope your recovery is going swell and that you are more than happy with your results! Is it okay for me to add you for any other questions I might have but may want to ask them privately. Is it also okay for me to add you three other lovely ladies? @lucy1987 @fell @olivia1996 Thanks x
