The first couple of times I washed my hair after my op I went to the hairdressers to have it done as it’s so much easier to sit and lean back in a chair than bend over at home. After that I was able to lean over the bath and do it. I couldn’t have a proper shower for 6 weeks afterwards as I had dissolvable internal stitches that obviously can’t get wet. I just took the shower head down and washed myself whilst avoiding my incisions. It’s a bit annoying but you’ll be fine and that first proper shower after 6 weeks feels soooo gooood!!! 🙂
