Hi all
Im meeting Dr Singh tomorrow to arrange my tummy tuck…. Does anyone have before and after pics that I could see
Thanks in advance x
I don’t have pics at moment but I’m actually lying in my highgate hospital bed after having a tummy tuck and breast uplift yestetday at about 4pm I think it was. I had MR Singh.
any questions then please ask as its all fresh in my mind. I might not answer you straight away as I’m a bit groggy from the sleeping pills that obviously didn’t work much as its so early! Lol
love sparkly bits and flat stomachs.

Good luck Lynda, and go for it! Don’t worry about the pain, they are very good with pain relief meds, I had more than I needed. I had Vaser lipo done 3 months ago with Dr Hamlet and am ecstatic with my results. I didn’t need a tummy tuk as I’ve never had kids – so I was fortunate with good skin and no sagging. But I picked up SO much tummy weight due to menopause, so decided to do lipo. Best thing I’ve ever done! I have pics if you want to add me. Xxx
Thanks ive added you …your pics look fab 🙂
sadly i got i phone call when i was on my way to clinic to say Dr Singh was not well today so had to cancel …just waiting for a call to rearrange but they are holding the 9th of april for my op 🙂 🙂
Everyone at Highgate is smily and lovely..except for one lady who looked fed up so I asked if she was bored. Lol. People keep coming in to check on me and they have also been lovely to my husband. Nothing is too much trouble.
I checked in at Highgate yesterday at 12.30 and went for surgery about 3.30/4pm. I’m staying for two nights as I’ve had 2 surgery’s.
I am just like you and don’t like pain. I once went to hospital with a suspected broken wrist but I just had tissue damage to the base of my hand. I got it strapped up for two week’s. Went back to hospital and nearly fainted when they took bandage off.. it didn’t even hurt! So I can relate to your feelings.
I asked not to see any needles and so they didn’t show me any. They chatted to me till I fell asleep and woke up in the recovery room later. The nurse asked me out of 10 what number was my pain.. I said 7. So she gave me pain killers through a drip. The only pain I get is when I have to get out of bed to pee. First time I was so scared and nearly fainted so they gave me oxygen through a mask. It took me 45 mins to pee. Next time took me 15mins to pee and now I pee on que lol.
I will say though that sometimes when I get out of bed I can feel exactly where the cut is.. from end to end. Its not nice but I only feel it when I swing my legs to Get out of bed and stand up. I am not on strong painkillers and if I took strong ones then maybe it would be better.
I didn’t sleep much last night even with sleeping pills as I had to have these blow up things on my legs to stop thrombosis and they kept going off and making me jump. Lol
Im surprised at how I feel right now. I thought I would be sobbing and in pain but I’m not.. you will be fine. I’m such a wuss and I actually did it after about 8 years of should I, shouldn’t I.
hope I answered your questions. I do tend to waffle. Lol
Sounds like your coping brilliantly and what you’ve said has put me at ease a little lol as Dr Singh was ill today I’m now seeing him on the 17th march with op booked for 9th April 🙂
Please keep me updated with your progress
