Undecided on breast size. Surgery booked – 11th January with Max Marcellino

Hi lovely ladies,

Last week I had my Pre op checks with the nurse and second consultation with Max to go confirm the surgery etc. I am still very undecided on what size I should go, I am currently a 32A, 5f 3in in height and a size 8. I want a natural look to suit my body frame. I am afraid if I go too big I will look strange and unnatural but also if I am too small wont be happy either. It seems right now I cannot win. My first thoughts were to go no bigger than a C cup however looking on the forum I see girls that have gone up to a D/DD with the same sats as me.

I have decided that I will go for a moderate profile implant which is placed Submuscular as I do not have much breast tissue so going in front of the muscle there would be a chance in seeing the implant so I thought its not worth the risk.

I am worried as the surgery is fast approaching and I am still to yet make up my mind on the size.
Mr Marcellino advised me of 3 sizes on my second consultation which from memory were 300cc, 350 cc and 400cc. Does anyone have any advise on what ones may suit me best? Or has anyone gone through the same thing?

Its totally nerve wracking but exciting at the same time I just want to get it right first time around and have no regrets.

Hi Zoe I am similar stats to yourself (although I was a empty B/C to begin with) and I got 450cc on the 14th Nov with Dr Traynor, I will add you so you can have a look at mine I know they are a little bit bigger than 400cc but atleast it gives you a look on what they look like 🙂 I was so indecisive coming up to my op but just went with my highest option (450cc) they look so natural even though they are big! You may regret it if you go smaller after the swelling goes down that’s all 🙂 xxxx

Hi Zoe! Im similar stats to you – I am 5ft 2, 9 st 34A and my boobs are droopy. I Want no bigger than a C cup but others have had d/dd ! its all so nerve racking! I am seeing my surgeon for the first time on the 10th Jan and op booked for 30th!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! xx

Hey hun i had the same problem, i went for 350 in the end as i tried 450 but felt it made me look bigger especially my arms and just didn’t look right on me. One thing to keep in mind is the volumes don’t always mean the size you want to go, so i said i wanted to be a C, with the swelling atm I’m DD so in a few weeks time i think ill be a D. id recommend the middle one (350) because then you won’t feel as if you went to small/big but i think its just one of those things girls are really indecisive about but I’m sure you’ll love them no matter what size xx

Yes that’s what I’m afraid of ,going to small then regretting it after..
How did you feel after the anesthectic? Did you have any side effects?

There’s no need to be nervous for your surgeon consult, just make sure you go with a list of questions, anything that your unsure of etc etc. Who are you booked in with? xx

I think you may be right with the sizes, I think I may go back to try them on again just to make sure.
Did you have yours behind the muscle? If so is it painful? Do you have to wear a band across the top half?

I’m so nervous as these next few weeks are going to fly by being christmas. I am hoping to go back for an appointment to try the implants again for size. I just want my surgeon to know exactly what look I am going for. I guess they do this every day right so should be fine. xx

yeah i had 350 behind the muscle, tbh wasn’t as painful as i thought however day 2 and 3 waking up during the night i was really stiff but managed to stop taking painkillers yesterday as made me bloated and i haven’t needed any all day! the band is probably the most pain I’ve been in as soo uncomfy so take it off for a bit x

Hi zoe, I’m also booked in with Marcellino on the 11th Jan. I’ve found I hard to decide and went back and seen him a second time. I think I’ve decided on 425 cc HP under the muscle. I’m 5’1 and around 7st 9 and pushing a 32A lol I’m also booked in that day for a full tummy tuck eek. I’m really excited but also really nervous I had all my bloods ect done so just waiting for the day to come x

I think if you’re worried about being too small then I would go for one of the larger / largest size offered. I’m a similar pre op bra size to you but am taller at 5ft 9″. I had 350cc and I have been measured as 30F / 32E although they don’t look as big as you’d imagine an E or F cup would.
