Under and Overs ?

Hello 🙂 What’s the difference between the implant being on top of the muscle or under it? Is it a health thing? Or just for the look/style?
– Also, is there anyone who has implants but wished they’d gone for the other (under/over) and why? Thanks x

i could be wrong but im pretty sure its to do with look/style aswell as what the surgeon recommends.
For example if you want a fake look they would need to be over, to expose the shape of the implant more, however having overs does not necessarily mean they will look fake. also if you want more natural you may be advised to go under. But also on top of that its to do with how much breast tissue you have already, if you have very little and you’re quite tiny in frame you’ll most likely be told to have them under to disguise the implant more (but only if thats the look you want, if you wanted round balls on your chest then over would be ideal).
I have a bit of breast tissue, but im going for a “semi fake” look. I want them to be big (525cc) but that they could also pass as my own if you never met me
your surgeon will go through it all with you, its really not complicated, once you say the look you want and size he/she will be able to advise on where to place your implant. everyone is different, we could both have 525cc but be after a different look, plus have different breast tissue available already etc

@Rose u often do not have a choice the surgeon will recommend due to breast tissue if u do not have alot of tissue he will give u implants placed under the muscle unders have a slightly more natural look to them.x

Chanel – Thanks. I noticed from your profile that you’re 5’5, 9 stone, and was a 34b. That’s exactly the same as me – what size are you now & are you happy with them? Do they look right for your frame? Not too big, and not too small x

Hi @Rose im happi im yet to b measured but would say look around dd altho the boobies are compressed within an inch of their lives in the sports bras n i dont look much bigger in clothes while im in these im a month post at six weeks will b able to wear bras n will b measured add me if u like i had 450cc x

DD is quite a lot bigger, at least it sounds it lol. Good to hear you’re happy with them, I still can’t decide what size to go – Im scared I’ll go too small and it be a waste of money, or way too big. You must be excited for 2 weeks time! 🙂 Is your photo pre op then? < x
