Hey girls, I have my op on the 23rd of January!! Yay haha. I have been told I’ll be having under the muscle, is there much difference in appearance or recovery with having them under the muscle? Any advice/ pictures would be very helpful!

    Thanks,

    Hayley

Under the muscle is a little bit more uncomfortable recovery wise, but it gives a really natural look especially for patients with hardly any breast tissue to start with, as it masks the shape of the implant! x

Thank you! My surgeon did ask if I had any question , and I was just like no then I left and thought actually what’s the difference. That would definitely make sense as I am an a cup and an empty one at that thank you for replying ☺️ X

A great thing to do would be to make a notes page on your phone and any time a question comes into your head write it down, then when you next see your surgeon or speak to your PC you can ask all the questions you have 😀 happy to help x

Under the muscle is a lil harder recovery and are better for people with lil breast tissue but overs and unders can both look just as natural on a person xx

I had under the muscle and didn’t find it painful at all.. all depends on your pain threshold.
