Under the muscle and smooth round implants

Hi girls, went for my consultation at the end of May (not with MYA) and have been offered motiva round under the muscle implants. Surgeon said he could go over the muscle but I have read that capsular contracture is more common with smooth implants over the muscle so I think I would prefer to go under. I’m really scared of capsular contracture or something going wrong but I really want boobs! Just wondering what the recovery has been like for those of you who have gone under the muscle? Thanks xx

Hey, I’ve just had the motiva round under muscle a week ago! (Not with MYA) I feel great today but yesterday was still hell so I’m surprised by how painless everything feels today. I am skin and bone on my chest so my muscles had a lot of stretching to do to accommodate 420cc and boy did I feel it. I have struggled with the most basic of tasks and can’t put any weight on my arms at all. Today is a different story though and I can move myself with my arms and managed to wash (over the bath) and dry my own hair. So 7 days really isn’t that bad!

Aww wow. I’m not with MYA either. Sounds like it’s been tough but really glad you’re feeling better now! Hopefully you will be feeling better every day now 🙂 how long are you off work for? I’ve booked two weeks so hoping that will be ok. Hope you are happy with the results 🙂 xx

Charlotte, I have had unders and this time going for overs, unsure on the recovery difference yet but didn’t find unders that bad. I’ll be having round motiva overs for my next ba 🙂 xx
