Morning all you ladies on your booby journey this is my first post..this forum has been my life over the last 6 weeks..so thought I’d write a little of my booby day yesterday. Firstly I was offered 450cc under TSF round naturelle, I was very impressed with my surgeon who is also an oncoplastic surgeon tried on sizers consultation was a good 30 mins with him..so booked and paid with my pc straight after. .. my time for arrival was 7.30 only live and hour drive away got there on time as hubby got a little lost..I was actually very calm about this to his surprise I think! From booking in within 5 mins I was in my room going thru forms changing into my sexy gown, stockings and paper pants..(definitely glad I read on here about dressing gown you will need it to walk to theatre along with slippers) not long after form filling it was my time to be drawn on and confirming my size the surgeon did offer overs at this time but I wanted the more natural look even though I have read unders and pain as well as the other factors with unders that’s what I’d decided from the beginning. By 8.40 I was on my way to theatre smiling like a Cheshire cat I really don’t know how I kept so calm I just didn’t feel at all scared of anything! Was back in my room 11am on the dot very sleepy I do remember vagly being shown my new assets but I was still pretty out of it I didn’t have any strapping which I was so happy about..I bought my macom and Asda sports bras with me. The nurse went with the macom I did feel she wasn’t as careful as she could have been I took a dislike to her after that I don’t complain much lol but I felt a little tlc wouldn’t have gone a miss. So my next 4 hours was on and off sleep had a hot tostie and tea. Started to get very painful by 4ish and apparently wasn’t allowed any pain relief till 6! I took last tablet at noon so was really stressing the nurse hurt me when taking blood pressure and pulse as she somehow managed to get tangled with 2 wires! When she left the room I just cried cried for the pain the selfishness and being angry with the nurse. My surgeon came to see me at 5.30 I was in a lot of pain like I had a thousand stitches from running across my chest, the surgeon had a look and said my macom was too tight nurse tried sports bra but by no way was that going to fit I got the macom in my back size 36 which nurse told me and it was very roomy round back when tried it on b4. Anyway surgeon said no bra he did ask the nurse if there was one they had, but she said there wasn’t how she could tell by not looking I did not find that amusing!surgeon said i was allowed pain killers some more tea and was told I could go home was given pain killers antibiotics and muscle relaxers the journey home was bumpy but manageable think the painkillers from hospital helped and considering I had no support on my new boobies it wasn’t too bad. by about 9 it’s been complete agony the painkillers I been given don’t even touch the sides can’t do nothing myself not even pull pj’s down or get out of bed have been crying for the pain my stitches are sore and feels like my implants r gonna fall out getting my bras from mns today well hubby is as I couldn’t face town..people I’m walking like a zombie literally. Am hoping one of those fit have ordered 36DD and 38 DD..and my boobies will feel better the only bonus has been I can just about pull my top up and see them they do look great so far obvs a lot of dropping to do but I will post some before and after in a couple of days when I’ve managed to control the pain. Sorry I’ve just rambled but just wanted to share a little part of my journey..I really didn’t think I’d be in this much pain lying down is the most comfort but trying to get up is a no no my poor hubby is shattered for running around after me I definitely could not have done this without him.
Good luck to all u girlys on your journey x unders r painful but I am still glad I had it done support afterwards is essential x

It will get better! I’ll be 3 weeks post op tomorrow & I’m basically back to “normal” I can do pretty much everything alone (other than lifting heavy things and reaching up high to get things). You will be emotional, I kept crying some times for no reason or other times because I’m so independent that I hated other people doing things for me (especially when they weren’t doing it “properly”- I am very set in my ways ?).
The pain will get better also… I found for the first few days it wasn’t so much pain, more not being able to move too much as the bigger movements would cause pain. You know you can take ibuprofen too? I was taking the painkillers they gave me but I actually went to my GP and explained what I was on (showed him my discharge note) and asked if he could give me anything- he gave me a bottle of morphine! So it’s definitely worth seeing your GP! All the best with your recovery and happy healing! xxx

I can’t wait to get where you are I bet your glad your past the first stage! I just never realised it would feel this bad I’m like you so independent feel like I’ve lost my dignity but have a very supportive other half but it’s not the same as doing stuff yourself lol…I didn’t know you could take ibroprufen so will get some plus don’t remember getting discharge notes but I’ll check I’m sure they give me morphine when I came round or as I was which I think they should sent us girls home with enough for the first 2 days I definalty feel like my body’s been through trauma to say the least I know it will get better just hate the not being able to move without pain. Thank u for your advise will call my doctor and see if they can give me some morphine. Hope your feeling well and happy with your new boobs …:) xxx

Hi Claire, I had 350cc hp unders last Wednesday and had really suffered with the pain….it would usually take a lot for me to become dependent on someone but I totally underestimated how much I’d need to be! I’ve just had a really bad weekend with pain but all of a sudden day 5 now and feeling like I’ve turned a corner. Still twinges and sore but so much better ? Just 2 more days to get my strapping off can’t wait to feel the release! Xx

Hi Emma..glad your feeling better 🙂 it’s awful I’ve never experienced this kind of pain and I’ve given birth twice! I can feel the stinging of my incisions OMG they sting a lot is that normal? I was lucky with no strapping and still have no bra on as waiting for other half to collect from m&s really hoping one of the sizes fit I might feel less achey when move my arms
I hope I can say it’s all been worth it soon when the pain is well and truly gone! Good luck for when you have your strapping removed you be able to see your new additions too!?xx
