Unders strap and shower

Girls, anyone out there that had unders and had just that elastic strap across? I’m 6 days post op and have had my sports bra on and this band. Going to get bandages off today, but have been told gave to wear this strap for 6 weeks also, did anyone else have this? How did yon find it?
I’m in quite a lot of discomfort still.
When can I shower and wash my hair?

Hi Kim, I had unders about 2 weeks a go and also have the elastic strap and supposed to wear it for 6 weeks. I find it so uncomfortable and have eased up on wearing it all the time now. I wear it when I’m at home in the evenings and at night but when I’m at work it’s just so annoying and also hard to hide. It’s probably the wrong thing to do :/ You can shower once the nurse has taken your bandages off today x
