Underwired or not?

What are peoples thoughts for bra choice after the 6 weeks of post surgery bra.. is it recommended to not wear an underwired bra even after the scars have healed or are you ok to?
I’m 3 weeks post op and already want to go new bra shopping 😍😍

I tried underwired bras but they were really uncomfortable. I couldn’t get properly measured due to Covid so I don’t actually know what size I am but I’ve not actually worn a bra since the post op bra days (wore mine for about 4 months 24/7 then dropped to just at night and now not at all. They sit lovely so I don’t bother unless I’m going to the gym then I wear a sports bra xx

Thanks Altine, that was my worry that the wire would hurt and rub the scar.
Its a nightmare trying to find somewhere that does fittings as the M&S and Debenhams in our town has closed 🙁

My advice is to not get carried away with bra shopping as hard as it may be. Even my nurse said this to me as they will still change a lot. I went and got a few bras after my 6 week check and I’m coming up for 9 or 10 weeks now and I feel like I’m going to burst out of them now. Obviously you still want quality bras but just don’t go mental until after the 3 month mark
