Uneven ribs

Been for my consultation with the surgeon (Mr Mounir) today, he has offered me a few different sizes.. 295cc, 320cc and he said he would try 350 but wasn’t sure if he’d be able to get them in but he has also noticed that my ribs are uneven, one slightly higher then the other. I have never noticed this before but now he’s said it, I can see it! Has anyone else ever experienced this as he told me it would be noticeable after my surgery and one crease may be higher then the other and one boob could sit higher.. any advice greatly appreciated as I’m so confused by this and a little disheartened xx

My ribs were super uneven, I knew that I had one rib that stuck out quite a bit but after speaking to my surgeon he said that all of my ribs were uneven and I had a abnormal (also known as a ‘deformed’) chest wall which was why I had asymmetry in my boobs, talk about feeling gutted… He said there was nothing he could do about it and that it would be noticeable after surgery. I felt like you, really disheartened and was confused whether to have them done or not as the last thing I wanted to do was make it more obvious or make them look worse, especially as other then my one rib that stuck out I had never noticed it before.
However I decided to go ahead with the surgery and they’ve turned out perfectly! I even chose to have them partially under the muscle rather then over (he suggested overs might hide my deformed chest more) as I much preferred the idea of partial/unders. Apart from my rib that was already visible before you cant tell any difference or abnormalities at all, they sit the same as each other and look symmetrical (for the first time ever!). My surgeon did have to put in different size implants and also lower my original breast crease by about 1.5cm which freaked me out but that was so they would sit the same so you might have that done too but I think its quite common!
Dont be disheartened! Im so pleased I decided to go through with it and it will be the best decision you ever make! Dont forget the implants go over your ribcage so if anything it will hide any uneven-ness you have rather then making it obvious, because I was flat chested before you could easily see / feel my ribs, now I have some squishy pillows to cover them! Xx

Tried to find some pictures that showed my chest difference before and after but I didn’t actually take any to show it on purpose… these are probably the best example! You can see on the bottom picture how my chest sticks out at the top and how visible it was before compared to now! My chest also concaved in the middle but turns out thats worked in my favor as it makes them look bigger when front on, it creates a bit more shadow haha!! Hope this helps xx

Hey Hun, I had uneven ribs which made my boobs look uneven, one stuck out more than the other. I was warned it could make it mor noticeable but to be honest it’s hid it. I think no one would be able to tell at all now! I’ll add some pics of before and after. The only thing that has happened is that one nipple is slightly further out to the side than the other but I’m completely fine with that! xxx

Thank you so much for your replies. It’s really put my mind at ease. I still want to go ahead because the outcome will still be better then it is now. Mine don’t stick out at all, one sides just lower then the other. When I was measured from collar bone to nipple one was 18 and one was 17.5 so I assume this is something to do with it. He wants to see me again in 2 weeks time so will see what’s said then but he did stress to me that they may not be as perfect as I am expecting. I know he has to say that though. He also mentioned about possibly using different size implants in each side but he never said whether they would be under or over but I’m slim and don’t have much tissue there anyway so I assume unders. Hopefully they turn out as great as both of yours 🙂 thank you again xxx

Mr Mounir told me the same last week. I hadn’t noticed before he showed me, just thought one boob was smaller than the other. He’s offered me up to 350cc over or under. I think I want overs to hide the rib cage but he said unders will give me the natural look I’m after. Very confused!xx
