I’m 11dpo and had 320/350 vhp unders. The reason for the difference was some chest wall asymmetry which wasn’t a great deal tbh and my breasts looked the same to me. My surgeon said he’d try to put both 350’s in but if he felt it would look uneven he’d put the smaller one in the side where my chest wall stuck out a bit more (my left side) to balance it out. I did say I wasn’t too bothered about that and would prefer the same size in both but he seemed sure he would have to make that judgement and I trusted him to do that. Now my left side is healing well and starting to soften and drop. My right is still so high, hard and the implant makes it look huge next to the other. 30mls is the difference so not a lot spread over the implant, but it looks huge, even under clothes you can tell.
Can anyone put my mind at ease? I’m convincing no myself it’s more swollen because it’s a bigger implant to accommodate, and also my dominant side. But I do worry that it will always look odd. I’ve waited 20 years for this and it’s taking all the pleasure out of it. People ask me if I’m happy, and to be honest I’m not able to say yes!
Please tell me it will even out? I’d load a pic but can’t figure it out!
Hi @suzyrobs02. There’s still a lot of changes to come and I wouldn’t worry until past the 6wpo mark. It could quite possibly be one is more swollen than the other. My surgeon said I had some assymetry (I’d never noticed) but I had the same in each. Since my op I’ve kept thinking my right breast is larger than the left but it’s just started to even out over the last couple of weeks. I’m almost 10wpo now and still noticing small changes, especially with comparing pics in a collage. At my 6 week appointment my nurse said that my right was larger as I use my right side more and so there was more swelling. I’ve attached my 2wpo and 9wpo pics to show the changes xx
I’m 8mpo 450hp overs and I hate them. They look uneven and just point out not what I wanted in the slightest xx
Hey Roxanne do you have photos ???? and what was it you had done? I’m booked for my first consultation x.
I had 450hp overs. One of them is bigger than the other and I hate them. I wasn’t explained the difference between implant styles I had said I wanted the round fake look like the girls on the posters. I have no upper fulness when I spoke to my surgeon after I had them done he said to wear a push up bra! It wasn’t until after that I was told you get a bigger version of what you had, the whole reason for having them done was the shape and size! Majorly disappointed. I’m thinking of paying to have them done via another company to get what I wanted! Xx
I had two different sizes as I have scoliosis so one side of my chest wall is more forward. Mine were so uneven I was convinced my surgeon has put the bigger implant in the bigger side to start with. I am now 11 weeks post of and have evened out . Don’t worry I spent weeks worrying for nothing x
Well I’m nearly 3 wpo and it’s actually starting to even out, both are settling down and looking more natural. Thank god! If I could figure out how to load pics I would show the progress! Can anyone tell me how? Thanks ladies!! X
Hi Suzy. I’m going through the same thing. I had 275cc round implants and they were the same size up until 2 weeks. One has dropped and seems bigger. I’m abit worried. Hoping they will even out soon. Has yours got as big of a difference as mine? First photo 2 days post op second pic 2 weeks post op xx
Thanks Suzy. What one is the most recent? They look the same size in the bottom photo xx
The bottom one. I’m just worried that when they drop and fluff the bigger one will look odd in comparison? It’s a waiting game this isn’t it, and I’m ot patient. I took the top one last Friday and was freaking out!!
Yours look good and look the same now! Thank you. You have put my mind at rest! Hope my mine will even up too!! I’m not patient either. Just hoping I’ll be happy with final results as it’s so much money to spend to not being happy. Xx
@choc70 hi georgia – I am having what sounds like the same problem as what you had. My breat with the smaller implant looks bigger than the breast with the larger implant and I convinced myself my surgeon had put the bigger implant in the bigger boob by mistake! Are yours still doing well now?
