I’m almost 2 weeks post op, had 325cc high profile under the muscle. I’m happy with the shape, and they do look lovely but I’m so disappointed with size, wanted a lot bigger 🙁
Hi Hannah. I had 325cc HP under the muscle 8 weeks ago. You are still very early in the healing process, believe me they will change alot over the next few weeks. When the swelling resolves they are going to look small, but please don’t be discouraged until the drop and fluff happened. When we go for under the muscle the muscle gets very tight over the implant and they can look very small up until 12 weeks post op. Mine still hasn’t dropped abd fluffed yet completely and I also go from loving them one week to hating them the next. It’s a roller-coaster ride in the beginning but please don’t judge your results before at least 12 weeks post op, if you still are not happy with them then, make an app with your surgeon to discuss maby going bigger. Happy healing and feel free to msg me if you’d like. ?
Hi Marlise, thank you so much for your reply! When did yours first start to drop and fluff? Are you happy with them at the moment? I’m just mad at myself that i didn’t push for 350 on the day or ask for bigger in consultation but I was so nervous about it all I just went with what I was told! Yes I am going to try not to stress about it and give them time, thank you so much!?
I really started noticing a drop in them at 5 weeks post op, but also I was very sick at that stage with chickenpox(yes I’m 35 and got chickenpox?) so i didn’t really take fotos to compare to the other weeks before 5 weeks, but im sure they dropped little every week. If you take photos every week from the same angle it’s very easy to see how they drop. I did not fluff much yet, I think that only happens when you are done dropping and then the magic starts with the fluffing and the shape getting bigger and more round. I am happy with them at the moment its just that my left boob has dropped a little more that my right so it looks bigger now and it is freaking me out a bit, I’m hoping they will even out when the fluffing is done. 325cc was the biggest my surgeon could fit, I had zero breast tissue left after weight loss and my pectoral muscles was super tight from working out a long time. I’m sure you gonne love them when fully healed ?
Really so still a while to go for mine then! Oh no really bless you!! I have started taking photos now and trying on old tops which is making me feel better about them! The waiting is so annoying isn’t it, I can’t wait for them to fluff out more! Are you right handed? That could be why the left has dropped quicker, if the right side is stronger the muscle takes longer to relax so I wouldn’t stress about it! I was the same I had hardly any breast tissue and I exercised regularly! I hope so, I’m sure you will too!?
@marlise I’m exactly the same as you! Only 2 weeks post op but my right is looking smaller than my left. Not sure if it will even out during drop and fluff or whether to get used to it.
hannah How are you getting on? I’m right handed so you might be right about the muscle tightness!
Hi Shannon, I’m doing well thank you! How are u now? Yes my right one still feels tighter than the left, I had an infection in one part my incision also but that’s clearing up now! Getting happier with the size just still slightly worried their too small x
Give it time… I’m nearly 11 weeks post op and I’m still seeing changes.. you will get days where one is smaller, both look smaller etc.. it can take up too 12 months to see the final result..Even at 6 weeks mine looked very unnatural… at about 9 weeks they started to look like they were a part of me.. feel free to message me if you want to see the changes 🙂 xx
Thank you I’m trying to be patient with it but it’s so hard! Really so it does take a long time, I’m just hoping that I went with the right size implant and I’ll be happy once they’ve settled! What size implant did you get if you don’t mind me asking? ☺️Xx
Your boobs can take months to drop into the right position. These things take time. You have to be patient as everyone is different. Don’t panic!! You will love them soon I promise x
Thank you so much!! You are right I know, I’m try to be patient and just see how I feel after they’ve dropped, I’m feeling much better about them already! X
Hi all! So I’m 11 weeks post op today. My left boob is still bigger and more fluffy than my right?. Man this is so annoying. It’s definitely not capsule contracture because the implant moves freely in the pocket and I have zero pain in the right breast. I think the right breast muscle is a bit stubborn to relax. How are you ladies feeling today? ?
Hi! My left is bigger at the moment as well, it is annoying, the right one is definitely more stubborn? as long as there’s no pain it just still needs more time, remember you’ll notice it more than anyone else will! ?
Thanx Hannah. I’m 13 weeks post op now and its a little bit better, not perfectly yet but better?
Im glad I’m not the only one lol I’m 12 weeks post op and my right is still smaller and not as round as my left it’s really annoying me but I’m hoping it settles soon I know it’s still early days xx
Hi ladies. Just wanted to give an update. I’m almost 5 months post op now and my right boob has finally settled like the left! They are the same size now😊. I am beyond happy with the results although they are still changing every week (getting bigger and more fluffy). At my six weeks post op mark I could fit a 34 C cup nicely but now I’m a 34 D/DD. 🥰.
Hi Marlise,
Thank you for the follow up. I am 2.5 weeks post op now and really scared because I am in the same situation as you girls were while creating this chat. The only difference is that my left is the stubborn one… also, I did have some asymmetry to start with, nothing much really, but the right breast was a bit lower as my baby proffered to compared to the left. 🙂
Could you please share some photos ?
Mine are attached.
I would appreciate some positive examples.

Hi Anna. Yours looks great so far! I’m 6 months post op now and they have changed so much since my post above. If I loomyin the mirror I can still see a slight difference between them but in photos they look exactly the same. It’s so crazy. Unfortunately I’m not allowed to post pictures on here, I’m from south africa and I’m not sure if email will work?
Hi Marlise, I see that my post is not visible.
Thank you so much for the response…I feel better. But left one is still high
Anna yours look good! My left one was very stubborn 😂… I’m 6 months post op and they are changing still!.. at 4 months I was a 34DD I’m now a 32E..,
One always drops faster than the other.. you will see so many changes.. but so far they are looking amazing! Give it time and I’m sure you will be very happy xx
Hi Marlise,
Thank you so much ! I hope that it will go the same way for me…as it did for you. It is 4 weeks post op for me now and the left one still didn’t drop… The band that I have to wear is killing me but I am wearing it hoping that it will push the left one down. Looking from profile, difference is bigger. I will attach photos to see.
Marlise,
If you have any photos that you want to share with me, this is the email address

Hi Amy,
Thanks for the reassurance ! I was thinking that they need to stabilise by 6 weeks, to drop evenly. My doctor was even mentioning how they were not 100% same to start with and it gave me a feeling that it may stay this way.
Also, it is nice to hear that they will become somewhat bigger 🙂 I remember when I was trying out sizes before surgery that it looked a bit bigger…but that is really not precise.
What kind of implants did you choose ?
