Hi all,
Just broke the news to my bf of 15 years, to say he’s not happy is an understatement. Think it’s now the end of the road for us lovebirds. Anyone else have similar experience. Would help to confirm that I’m making the right decision. Good job I’m an independent and head strong woman. X
Me and mine had a few arguments about it. He thought I was doing it to get the attention of other blokes and that im going to leave him. He got over it and he was more excited than me in the end. He loves them. If hes going to end a relationship with you just because of this then he obviously doesn’t care as much as he says he does. He should support you no matter what you decide. Its your body at the end of the day xx
Thanks for your honesty. That’s what he said about the attention (which we know us completely wrong). I feel the same as he should want me to be happy, after all his body didnt change after having two kids but mine did xx
15Years is alot to throw away,he might just be having a tantrum which is exactly what i think my partner will do because of there insecurities about it.ive came to realise its my body if he wont stand by me then so be it..do whats right for you no one else.hope it works out for you xx
Sorry @amyjane1988 forgot to tag x
Thanks natalie22-x. Yeah that’s my attitude about the whole thing. But there are kids involved so dont want to affect them because I’m doing something for myself, this once! Men eh. I’m all booked up for op, two weeks and 3 days and counting x
I have two children aswell, thing is you need this for yourself as you wouldnt have even looked into it and you shouldnt blame yourself if he walks out on you and your children because of something he cant control..just be strong. If this will change your life for the better and make you more confident then its worth it. Youll be a happier mum and thats important. When i considerd ba i knew doing it would improve my confidence when im out with my children instead of feeling insecure.you do whats right for you, im saving and hopefully be saved by december along time to break the news to my partner! But stick to why your having this done and how much itll improve how you feel.if he dosent stand by you and if mine dosent stand by me then they obviously dont love or care that much about us. Life is to short,do what you need to do :)xx
Amen to that @natalie22-x and thank you. Good luck for your Ba and breaking the news x
I think the majority of men throw a tantrum when they hear it. My bf knew for years how much I wanted one. He always said if that’s what I want then ok but he would not help me fund it. I think he thought I would never raise the cash on my own but once I became determined thre was no stopping me. He wasn’t happy to say the least! We had rows, even on day of op we had a huge row. But he was thre for me in the end, guess he had no choice really. They will be paranoid over it but the only way to confirm or feel eased about there concerns is to stick around ay , let him voice he’s concerns and try to reassure but tell him ultimately you are going to do this for yourself no matter what and he will just have to trust you x
I doubt very much he will leave you, cos inside he’s male brain it will be telling him, now that you have boobies you will be able to get a man very easy and also with new boobies you will have new found confidence., the way men think is trivial haha but honest for the same reason he doesn’t want you to have them are the same reason he won’t go nowhere c
Thanks girls. It’s so nice to see women supporting eachother on this forum, rather than the cattiness you get these days. Good luck to you both xxx
hya hun sorry to hear this ive been with my fella nearly 10 years and 3 kids and with I dont know how many arguments he finally agreed and paid for them, he also got bitchy saying dont wear low cut tops dont wear this and that ect…he just needed reassuring that it wasnt going to turn me into an unclassy girl lol, but I did have to be really nice to him leading up to it to make sure he didnt change his mind so bit my tongue quite a few times. but surprisingly hes been amazing and good as gold, he realised how flat I was and any insecurities I had were out the window. just dont throw a 15 yr relationship away you have to massage his ego a bit and tell him how great your love life will be afterwards and he can pick you nice bras and lingerie and its for both of you. …really got my fella more excited and it worked! use your head girl wer much smarter than blokes lol xxx
Haha thanks Sarah ( @dreamboobies25 ) x
My boyfriend is exactly the same I cancelled my op once because I didn’t wanna upset him but I’m getting them done in August now got to put myself first! He recons he’s not guna touch them haha whatever!!! Xxxx
