Unsure about surgery

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone was initially really apprehensive about getting surgery done or letting their daughter get surgery done and would like to share their experience?

What is it you or they are unsure of ? I was certain I wanted my surgery but really scared to actually do it! End of the day it’s one of the best decisions I ever made for myself and I just wish I could have done it sooner!
