Hi ladies so I went for my first app with the pc as I have 380cc implants in that I have had for 11 years now and breast fed my baby.
She told me she thinks I may need an uplift which I am devastated about I wanted the implants replacing due to my breasts changed so much in 11 years and I can feel some slight rippling but these implants have served me well especially after gaining 3 stone with my baby and losing 3 stone over the past year.
    What do you all think?
Shall I worry before I see the surgeon?
What type of uplift will I need? Thank you xxxx

Another angle you can see rippling at the top of left breast xxx

I think to get a decent result you would definitely need an uplift. Losing and gaining weight can put a lot of strain on your skin. If you just got bigger implants they would only weigh them down further. You’d still get an amazing result from an uplift x

I would say uplift. Sorry! 🙁 but you will probably be so happy after As they will be so much more perky and lifted. I had one ans was gutted when told but the results were great.
Go on the uplift chat and look at peoples results xx

I’m presuming they are overs hence the rippling, but dont get disheartened why not see a surgeon and see what they say x

Yes your right…I am booked in to see Mr moniour in 2 weeks they said with them being high profile overs it might just be a case of changing the implant profile and the fact it may be just down to the implant size now not filling the breast tissue. Xxx

Because your nipple is placed lower than your breast crease, I would say having a lift and new implants in would give you a super perky youthful result- because your skin has stretched it’s likely to do so even more when simply adding a larger implant in. Ultimately it’s your decision, and you should go with your gut and if it’s saying no lift, find a surgeon that will perform with just implants! But it’s up to you 🙂 xx

Please for your own peace of mind have at least 3 consultations, get a few opinions and then you are not going to feel like you are at conflict with one persons opinion, also to ensure a good outcome.
In my opinion i think the PC was right to prepare you for the potential of an uplift, nobody wants the extra scarring or cost but in a sense the augmentation alone would be a very shorterm fix to a longterm problem. I think your right, with a pregnancy and weight gain/loss your current implants have served you well and im sure you would hope to get at least 10 years again after re-aug, i would bet you still look fantastic in a bra but it does appear that the over muscle placement has now simply weighed your skin out, your nipples are still in a good position so i would think your existing natural tissue is of good quality/density but simply going for a larger implant to fill out the skin with overs again would have very limited longevity, and i dont think an under the muscle placement would work without the lift even with a larger implant, it’s important to remember that you currently only have skin holding your implants up and it is struggling now so to add a larger implant to fill the upper pole is just placing the skin under more stress and would probably lead to bottoming out, i think when we get implants we have to be honest with ourselves and accept that we have almost sent ourselves an invitation for an uplift in later years we just hope it’s as late as possible but in your case has probably come round sooner due to the factors of motherhood and weight fluctuation and the fact that your original placement was over the muscle, good luck with your consultations and i hope you have a fantastic outcome from your future surgery xxx
